Just read this on Facebook thought I would post here so you can all have a :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
New year giggle
This week Mummy was considering joining fat fighters for the 4th time. It may have been unsuccessful the first 3 times, but she knew it would definitely work this time. She searched the internet for a local meeting in which she hadn’t yet attended in fear of one of the ‘on target’ Janice’s recognising her from the last time and wondering what went wrong.
It was at this exact moment Mummy started getting flash backs to her previous experiences at fat club.
1. On target Janice, she would turn up every week even though she was lacking a single oz of excess fat. She had been on target for 3 years and she would love nothing more than strutting her size 8 !!!! towards the scales every week to find that her session was once again free, of course it was...because she wasn’t even !!!!!!!ing fat. She would then prance over to her usual chair and devour a fat club bar like she hadn’t eaten for 5 weeks.
2. Sharon, the one that went on 25 cruises a year and still managed to lose 5 pounds a week. “I just don’t know how I’ve managed a loss this week! I’ve had 3 course meals every day for the last 14 days!!” Sharon would say.
‘!!!! off back to the Mediterranean would you Sharon you jammy cow.’ Mummy would think.
3. There would be clapping, clapping for a loss, clapping for a gain, clapping for a maintain, extra clapping for someone whom had been struck down with a stomach bug earlier in the week. ‘WELL DONE FOR !!!!!!!! OUT A STONE!! What a hero Sally !!!!!! knickers.’ Mummy would think.
4. Ladies would openly announce their lady parts were expelling buckets of blood to a room of complete strangers, just to convince themselves, and attempt to convince everyone else in the room, that they definitely hadn’t eaten like a pig all week. ‘!!!!!!!!!’ Mummy would think, ‘no one has a period every Wednesday.’
5. In denial Danielle: “I just don’t know what happened? I have stuck to the plan all week? How could I have put 2 on??” She would say, wishing she had met up with Sally !!!!!! knickers. A good old fashioned bug would have turned the scales the right way.
6. Simon, the only male in the group, Simon would always have a big loss, even though he would openly admit to having 19 pints followed by a large kebab every Saturday evening. Everyone would laugh as he informed the group he was simply amazed he could still loose weight by only sticking to the plan during the week, even though everyone secretly wanted to throw their healthy options journals at his vastly shrinking body in a jealous rage.
7. The fat fighters leader- the one telling the group to make better options-clearly didn’t make them herself.
8. Everyone would rave about home made healthy chips: “Use fry-light” They would say. Mummy’s theory was that the reason their healthy chip option worked, was because by the time they had walked to the oven 26,000 times to check if their chip consistency had changed from that of a !!!!ing boulder in the last 4 hours, they had burned off 2,000 calories.
9. “You must stay to group or you won’t lose weight” the festively plump leader would preach to the whole group whom were scoffing fat club bars like they were going out of date within the hour because they had starved themselves all day for the weigh in. They needed something to keep them going until their post chub club takeaway arrived after the meeting.
9.9 “You MUST stay to group or you won’t lose weight” the voluptuous leader would preach, before continuing that next week everyone would be partaking in a late night fuddle, celebrating the fact it was once again Wednesday.
10. If you did lose weight, you were rewarded with everyone else’s fruit that they needed to get rid of, a basket full of mouldy and part-disintegrated fruit was the ultimate prize for a big loss.
‘Ahhh.’ Thought Mummy, ‘maybe it’s just not the right time for me to join fat club again, maybe I am just meant to be chunky but funky.’
So Mummy closed down her search window on her computer, drank a full bottle of ros! and ate a full family bag of chocolate buttons.

Can you add me onto the spreadsheet please Chieveley ...
Sunday is my usual weigh day, but as New Year was Wednesday, I've decided to forget about my almost 3lb gain in half a week!
Hopefully by next week I'll be back on track .....
I'd like to lose 14lb by valentines0 -
Morning all, looking a bit grey again today but at least I haven't got to do any washing today as all done apart from what we were wearing yesterday.
Today's plan:
B - SW fry up - 2 sausages (2), egg, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms
L - HM carrot & lentil soup; 1 slice of bread (0.5 HEB)
D - roast lamb dinner - lamb, roast potatoes, roasted carrots, onions & peppers, mashed swede, red cabbage, peas
HEA - 1

Not sure whether I'll need the Ryvita and hummus tonight but they are there if I need to.

Update on my DH - as some of you know he was in hospital over NYE as they thought he had a problem with his heart and to wait for a cardiologist appt to come through - well that came through yesterday for the 4th February.
Am 90% back on plan - we still have some Xmas goodies left and those are hidden away out of sight!
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

That SW parody is hilarious tweets. Thanks for posting it. I'm sure we've all met some, if not all, of those characters!:D
I've had a brisk 30 minute walk today so good Body Magic. I'm doing it to keep my legs strong for dancing and because I think getting some daylight and fresh air is good, especially at this time of the year. I'm convinced that it's the food (and drink;)) that makes the biggest difference to weightloss and Body Magic is just a bonus if you can do it.
Last night's curry was tasty enough but it lacked depth. It had a sort of thin taste of that makes sense or maybe I just like gloopy curry.:) I'd have it again but probably won't bother as the Aldi one is very low syn without the effort. I had a small portion left for my lunch today. I made a raita like dressing too with what I had in (yogurt, garlic and spring onion).
Todays EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
L: JP (F), LO chicken curry, 'raita', pickled cabbage (P,S)JP roast pork (P) with SW roast potatoes (F), carrots, onions, cabbage, cauli, kale, runner beans, broccoli, swede & carrot mash.
Syns: HP sauce 1, HM gravy 4?, weekend wine:j
I don't think I'll bother doing the celeriac today. I think I have enough veg to be going on with!:rotfl:0
