Evening all
We have been over my sisters today as she a unwanted visitor/s in her loft! So hubby went up there, found the droppings but don't look like mice but put some traps downSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Happy new year everyone, feels as if I have been away forever. And the scales agreed
. 3lb gain, but as I was pretty much off plan for the best part of 3 weeks, it is not too bad I suppose. Back on plan with a vengeance now, going to Egypt beginning of February so want to lose 1/2 st before I go and would dearly love to reach my revised loss of 7st before July when I will be going to a wedding, will keep going and hope for best. Made the first tier of the wedding cake this morning, happy enough at how it has come out of oven. May even get to have a piece on the day, made 19 Christmas cakes and did not have as much as a raisin of any of them!
Sary & Abba, hope things are much better now.A smile costs little but creates much0 -

I'm also impressed with the very small gains you , tie and penny have had. :T I think 7lbs plus was about the average. Not impressed with the M&S sausages so won't be buying them again! Only bought them as DH wanted ordinary sausages rather than Linda McCartney Red Onion and Rosemary sausages for his scotch eggs.
I'm quite happy with the Aldi skinny sausages. They're only half a syn each and just as good as the Sainsbury's BGTY ones (1 syn) but much cheaper.Have used the LO red onion sausages to make some sausages meat balls to serve like stuffing - as recommended by Maman.

I checked out Asda today and the LM sausages are still £2 in my local store too. I did buy some YS bacon (35p a pack) so that'll be good for wrapping chicken etc.
I was out at lunchtime and when I started noticing people queuing in Greggs and eating pasties outside the bakers ...I decided I should have some lunch so had a JP in Debenham's caf!.
I came home and updated the inventory of my freezers as I really need to rein in some spending this month. I've also cooked a new (to me) curry recipe from a SW magazine. It's supposed to be syn free but I thought it tasted (typically SW) watery so I've put a tbsp of cornflour in it and I'll stir in some yogurt before serving later. I also put in extra speed. I batch cooked some pilau rice as I didn't have any left in the freezer.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried egg (P)
L: JP (F) with tuna (P) and salad (S)SW chicken curry (P,S), pilau rice, SW chips (F)
Syns: mayo 10 :eek:cornflour 0.5, weekend wine:D0 -
Was that mayo in Debenhams on the tuna? If it was then then the full fat stuff is 5 syns a Tbs:eek: and I suspect there was more than just 1 Tbs on it!
The jerk beef stew was lovely but definitely not enough jerk seasoning on it, there was just a little bit of heat. Next time I'll marinade it a bit longer (it had about 8 hours as forgot to do it last night before I went to bed, so only done it this morning). Will also use an bit extra jerk seasoning.
Had a lovely time with my friend and was good and only had a couple of cups of tea - she ate a brie, bacon & chilli jam panini & chips!
Just having a couple of rum & diet ginger beers this evening so well within syns today.

The LM sausages are on offer in Waitrose currently for £1.33/pack, got some today.
Also, CornThins (5=HEb) are half price in Tesco at the mo, so 65p/pack. HTHS.

Thanks for that PIB, I need to go to Waitrose as I like their own brand baked beans and we started the last pack today.
I think it's good to post good value stuff that's SW friendly as some people think it's expensive to do SW and it doesn't have to be.0 -
Evening all,
Thanks for the good wishes for DS. He is back home, and trying to take good care of himself, so that he hopefully improves. He's got a long way to go yet.
Have been fully back on plan, and just as well after the WI I had on Weds, and discovering that I had gained yet another 2lb! But the line was drawn there, and so WI will be next Weds, and I trust the plan to see small losses. It's a year since I started back on SW, and still satisfied that I am 2st lighter than I was back then. Now to tackle the next stone and a half.
Today I took all the Christmas decs down, and decided that the easiest way to get the behemoth of a tree out of the house was to cut all the branches off and throw them out of the window! It worked, and I didn't get needles in any other room as I usually do when dragging the tired old thing out of the house.
Plan today:
B - Raspberry quark (1), mango & sugar free jelly
L - ham & tomato sandwich HEB & (6) + salad cream (2)
snack - banana
D - steak, SW chips, cabbage, carrots, peas, gravy (1)
HEA - milk in tea/coffee
Went out for a meal with a friend last night, she's vegan, so we shared a spinach & okra dish, and I had chicken tikka with side salad, onions & peppers. I had saved my syns all day to take into account any oil that may be used in the cooking, and a little of the yogurt dressing. I'm hoping that would have kept it well inside my syn value.
My work colleague has FINALLY joined SW - hurrah!! She is very enthusiastic, we talk about food and recipes most of the day, and I am so excited for her. She's 17st, so has a fair bit to lose, but I've told her to trust the plan, and it will come good. She has a family wedding later in the year, so a good incentive too.
I've got a Mr T order arriving tomorrow, and have got a decent meal plan organised. Key to me sticking with the plan is to ensure I have the right food in the house. All Crimbo naughties are safely tucked away, and out of sight is thankfully out of mind for me.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0
