Happy birthday Tete.  Hope you have a great day and enjoy your weekend away with friends.

The Normandy Pork is my new recipe for this week!  It's adapted from a Delicious Magazine recipe which is online.  They have loads of recipes on their website, most aren't much good for SW but some can be adapted.  We weren't even supposed to be having that today - it was supposed to be next week but I needed some creme fraische for something else so as this needed it I've decided to change the plan.

Trouble is I'd got steak & kidney out so make a stew so am now cooking that and that will be going into the freezer for next week now!  Think there's probably 4 portions so will also be an extra meal for us for when we come back from our month's holiday.

Same from me, to you both. :S:smile:

I think that every time I come on this new site I find something else wrong with it! It's getting close to a week old now with absolutely no feedback from mse to even acknowledge the issues. I anticipate there will be a huge drop off in posts this week. I'm not hugely computer savvy but there must be some poor souls who just haven't a clue what to do. It's such a shame.  :s
    Today's EE plan
B NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P), HEB toast and HEA milk
L JP (F) with cottage cheese (P), pickles and spring onions (S)
D liver (P), mash (F), carrots, onions cauli and broccoli (S)
    Syns HP sauce 1, gravy?
I've got some LO gravy in the freezer (from HB steaks) so if I use that it'll be free.

Not been too well lately and weight came on again!
Cancelled op at Addenbrookes last minute this morning due to an urgent case, back home now and enjoying a glass of wine.  Stayed overnight at the hospital yesterday so after two days stress and travelling, I'm exhausted up top and down below!

And back on the waiting list .....
  • Breakfast this morning at Wetherspoons.  Avocado and Pico De Gallo on muffin should be ok, poached egg should be syn free too. Not sure how many syns for the muffin (no butter), hash Brown's and vegan sausage though.
Anyway, it tasted ok, washed down with black coffee and a small amount of semi skimmed milk.
  • Happy birthday xx
pork meatballs in a tomato sauce with tagliatelle tonight. I will have to do a meal plan and shop for it tomorrow after weigh in.
  • Thanks all for the birthday wishes

I'm weighing in a day early this week (tomorrow) as I'll be away for the weekend, so today is my last day to get it right!

    B - Banana, apples
    D - Austrian hash
T - Freezer curry with green beans
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Almonds
    Syns - Sugar (4), hot chocolate (2) = 6

I'm sure there'll be plenty of cocktails at the weekend but we're booked into a Japanese restaurant which I feel is probably one of the better options? Ah well, birthdays are once a year.
