    Good luck Denise.
I'm finding the forum is much nicer to look at on my phone than the pc.

So, last night shift now. Had roast chicken dinner when I got up 😋. Not sure of I should have that or breakfast, very confusing.
Was thinking about Tuesdays group as it's a free food taster. I'm going to have a go at chilli paprika carrot chips tomorrow and do them if they work. I'm trying to plan food around speed foods,  so this is a great way to get some in.
Anyone else got an good veggie ideas to make then interesting?🌽🥬🌶🥦🥕

  • And ofcourse good luck today to denise. Still adjusting to this new format, trying to find where I last was has gotten harder. Am sure a lot of work went into this new format but do hope some features from the old one can be incorporated/added over time. Like making the Thanks button the way it was  :|.

Hmm, so I tried to quote something but lost it when I moved onto the next page :confounded:

Anyway, I too am annoyed that it's hard to see if you've already thanked a post - I used to use that as a kind of bookmark and could quickly scan down the page and see where I was up to. Whoever mentioned about it being better on their phone than on a screen - I wonder if that's what's driven the change as more and more people use phones and tablets instead of PCs now?

Anyway well done TIE and Majorica on your good results. Well done SOTW MrsB and thanks for the chart Chieveley!

    Welcome Kim!

    Good luck Denise!

I had a small NSV on Saturday when I was able to zip up my parka - last winter I could only do the buttons and waist tie - so that was good and very welcome in the weather we had!

    Today:
    B - Banana and apple
    D - Turkey and leek risotto (2)
    T - 2CC ham and pineapple pasta bake with salad (1xHEA +1)
    HEA - Milk, pasta bake
    HEB - Almonds
    Syns - 3 as above, sugar in coffee (4), hot chocolate (2) = 9

The risotto is the chicken and leek one from the SW mag, it's full of leeks and courgettes so quite speedy and very tasty. I added a bit of Parmesan, otherwise it would be free.

I find that because I've bookmarked the thread on my laptop when I click on it the thread comes up at the last page I'd read so not a problem finding my place!  I too also use the Thanks button to show where I've got to in case it doesn't come up on the right page!

It just a routine blood test this morning.  Had to get up early as wanted to get there around the time they opened so I didn't have to wait too long.  Was up at 6 and left about 6.30am!  Got to the hospital about 7.20am and they open at 7.30 so not too long to wait especially has they started shortly after we got there - I was 3rd in the queue.

Did a bit of shopping while we were in that area as they've got a much bigger Mr T to my local one.  Actually managed to get everything on my list for a change!

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats; banana & 1 Tbs 50% fat creme fraische - HEB; F; 1.5
    L - chicken salad; new boiled potatoes - P; S; F
D - SC gammon; potatoes, carrots, leeks, celery, swede, turnip, shallots; stock - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge oats
Syns - creme fraische 1.5; nothing else planned (damage limitation!)

    Denise

It seems the times of posts has appeared this morning.

Allegedly, people have been beavering away at mse HQ all over the weekend so maybe some improvements will show soon. Some information would help though. Launching a new site and then just leaving everyone to figure out for themselves how it works (or doesn't  ) is really poor customer service IMO.
Hope all goes well with your op denise. You seem to have such a trek to the hospital but, at least, you took advantage by getting your shopping done.
    Todays EE plan:
B NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L cold meat (P), fried potato (F) and veg (S)
D baked cod (P) with SW chips and butter beans (F), tomatoes, broccoli, sugar snaps, mushrooms (S)
    Syns: none planned
  • Sorry not been around much this week.
Just popping on to let you know I had a 1lb loss this week.
Pretty pleased with that as went out to lunch yesterday, and had a couple of gins!
