Well done MrsB!
Maman, as far as I can tell, times are displayed for today, but anything from yesterday or before just gives the date? My emails do this as well and it's so annoying!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb2 -
Maman - might have got my shopping done but still forgot a couple of bits I need for a recipe that I want to make before going into hospital and freeze for eating in the days after the op in case I don't feel up to cooking. DH is OK at cooking things like fry up and sausage & mash but it's not something I want to eat all the time!
I'm going to make a Normandy pork & cider casserole so need to buy a small bottle of cider; also forgot to buy spring onions although not desperate as usually have pickled onions and/or HM pickled red onion chutney so still have the onion taste on my plate!
Mrs butler - sorry I forgot to say congratulations of being SOTW for last week! and well done on another lb this week.

When you have time denise I'd welcome the recipe for the onion chutney.1 -
I thought I had the recipe on my laptop but must be on my old one!
It's similar to this one, although I usually cook the onions for a good 20-30 minutes in the pan to soften:
https://www.shelllouise.co.uk/2017/09/healthier-red-onion-chutney.html
If I can find a printed version of the recipe I actually use I'll type it up but it won't be until tomorrow as I'll need to find it in my folder of printed recipes and they really need sorting out properly so I can find things as I want them!
If you want a SC recipe there is a recipe on this site:
https://tastefullyvikkie.com/slimming-world-syn-free-slow-cooker-red-onion-chutney-3/
I haven't tried this one but don't think I'd want to use the malt vinegar. I'd stick with balsamic and cider or red wine vinegar.

Just noticed the title of our thread has gone a bit weird; is that a smiley gone wrong at the end perhaps?

Morning all. Didn't sleep well last night and ended getting up at 5.30 this morning! Still at least breakfast is out of the way, machine load of washing is on and I'll hang out later and dishwasher is set to come on in an hour (I have solar panels so don't put on washing and dishes at the same time unless it's unavoidable!)
Today's plan:
B - Linda McCartney Red Onion and Rosemary sausage sandwich - HEB; F; 2 Syns for spread
L - LO Spanish chicken (from freezer) - P; S; F; 3.5 syns for chorizo
D - Egg, Chips, Beans, Mushrooms - P; F; S
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - spread 2; chorizo 3.5. May have a couple of drinks tonight but not sure yet so maybe another 6 syns (not allowed to drink tomorrow!)

I know what you mean midge. It's an ordeal using the site now as so many of the features we'd used don't seem to work and, frustratingly but somewhat typically, there's no feedback at all from mse. Someone posted on another thread that if it was a bank or a utility that had made such a mess of a new website then mse would have been first in the queue to criticise.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
L- cold meat (P), 1 fried potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- egg (P), SW chips (F), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
Syns: HP sauce 1

Definitely much quieter on the forums now with this new format. It's a real PITA to use now. I think if I hadn't bookmarked the bits I want to use I'd really struggle to find anything. There doesn't even seem to be a subscribed Threads list now which is what I used to use.
Actually I think I'll add tomatoes to my dinner tonight. Thanks Maman. When I looked in the fridge I've actually only got a couple of mushrooms left so they won't go far between DH and I! so tomatoes will be welcome to help fill the plate up and get some Speed in.
