  • I’m fed up! I did lose but only 1/2LB. Really cross because I now have to wait until next week to get back in range. Grrrrr! Ah well, I shall have to just suck it up and crack on.
glad you are home safe Denise.
  • Evening folks, I shall be away for the weekend so hope to catch up on Monday evening with the final chart. I hope Beanilou does not close the thread or leaves a link to a new one - that might be a challenge. (just been eating chocolates - well it is valentines)

Thanks chievely. It's ever so good of you to do this. The thread is really quiet at the moment, not helped by the mess that is the new site.
What do others think about a new thread? How long is it to Easter? Any thoughts?  :)
I had a big bunch of (syn free) red roses for Valentines Day but we've just had ice cream with coffee liqueur poured over it. I'm not a pudding person but it was lush.  <3

Did we know about Genius Beetroot Wraps? Pack of 4, currently on offer in Tesco for £1.40. One wrap counts as a HEb. They are gluten free and have very long dates, ones bought today BB 4.3.20. They are pink! I like them and will be using mine for lunch every now and again ;).

    Well done Maman! Great loss!

All this talk of beetroot wraps is tempting me to try some for lunches next week. What do you all put in them? I always worry that virtually anything I put in one (chicken, salad, grated carrot...) would be soggy a soggy mess by lunchtime. Unless I prepare the filling in a tupperware and fill it before I eat..?

I had chicken, tomato and mustard mayo, wasn’t soggy at all.

  • Hello, lost half a lb this week, slowly, slowly, but it's better than a gain.
Sorry, brief and to the point but I just can't take this new layout
  • Gosh, very quiet here today, hope you haven’t all been blown away by Dennis! Wind certainly picking up here in Bucks. Stay safe everyone 😉🌪.

What a horrible day!  Even so this morning wasn't too bad, very windy but at least dry.  DH hung out a machine load of washing and it was dry in less than 2 hours because of the wind!  Still very windy but raining as well all afternoon.  I'm just staying put indoor today and tomorrow at least, not venturing out in this.

Today is definitely on plan, although a bit short of Speed as not been shopping!

    B - Fry up - butchers lean sausages (2); egg P; tomatoes S; beans F
L - Jacket potato F; cottage cheese P; grated cheddar HEA; salad - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, spring onion, fennel S
D - Cochito - a Spanish stew of lamb, onions, garlic & paprika - P; S; will probably have with mash & green veg

    HEA - Milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - none planned
Syns - no idea yet! but may have a couple of G&Ts if I fancy later

    Denise

Couldn't agree more, horrible weather and horrible new site.
Ventured out to football today and we lost but not surprised as we were playing against Dennis and the ref! :rage:
Have stuck to plan as came home for a late lunch instead of eating out after our lunchtime game.
I'm maintaining rather than losing at the moment as I know I'll be over syns again this week, although not massively. There was last night's pudding and tonight we're having some spring rolls with dinner as I want to use them up (4 left in freezer).
    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, half banana (F), HEB porage, HEA milk
    L- veggie omelette (P, S) with pickles (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P, S) with noodles and SW chips (F)
Syns - honey 2.5, spring rolls, weekend wine
