  • Well, having thought I would catch up of the weekend, couldn't access new format on ipad, how annoying. Spent yesterday batch cooking, so all prepared for the week, which is just as well, as I overate in Egypt  :*, so need to reverse that.

Weather was a bit manky also, but allowed me to actually have virtually a full weekend at home catching up on things that needed to be done, who knows, I may have a semblance of order before Easter!

    Have a good week everyone

Yep I'd doing fine bubbs, just glad it's all over!  Bet you'll be glad when your op is over too!

I hate not being allowed to do anything!  I'm just not used to it.  DH always helps out but I find it difficult just sitting here watching him making hard work of things which I can do with my eyes closed, LOL!  I'm feeling much better today so hoping he's going to let me do something today!!!  He even told me off for getting us both a coffee from the machine - I only needed to press a button, LOL!!!

I'm pretty certain I'm out of range what with the hospital food, chocolate & wine so far this week!  I'm supposed to be going to group on Thursday for WI but not sure I will yet - I'll have a cheeky sneak on Thursday morning and then decide - if I'm out of range then I'll leave it until next week.

    Today's plan:

B - pork & chorizo muffin, fried up LO roast potatoes - HEB; 5; F
    L - Mezze - hummous, tapenade, veggie sticks - P; S; 1 syn
    D - LO roast chicken; chips; beans - P; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - muffin
    Syns - pork & chorizo burger 5; olives 1

I'm glad that's all the pork & chorizo burgers gone - won't be buying them again!

Sorry but I don't know how to write above a quote! :A:angry:
I used yesterday's weather to catch up with myself a bit too gtq. I'll portion up the veggie chilli for the freezer shortly so that'll give some variety to my lunches or even the odd meal if needed.
Those fishcakes sound lush bubbs. I'd like the recipe. :S:smile:
That's a good idea to possibly defer your WI denise. There's no point tying yourself down to a grace week when you don't have to. I've got at least a month before I have to go to WI but that'll include my birthday so I really need to work on losing rather than maintaining. I'm out for lunch on Friday this week but, in between, I can be very good.
    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, half banana (F), HEB porage, HEA milk
L- LO cold meat (P), potatoes (F), veg and pickles (S)
    D- sausage casserole (F,S) with tagliatelle (F)
    Syns: sausage 1, cornflour 1

Decided chicken chips and beans for dinner won't be enough so have a rice pudding made with almond milk in the oven cooking as well.  Been in for over an hour and a half but still doesn't look cooked!  Hopefully by the time we've had dinner it'll be ready!  If not we'll just have to have it later.

    Denise

It wasn't ready so left it an extra 3/4 hour and probably went a bit too far - the skin had ballooned over the pudding!  DH was happy because he likes the skin so he had the lot (I don't like it at all!)

Evening folks, so many people have dropped out/off the face of the MSE forum only 8 figures to report assuming I have read all the posts, it is difficult to recall where you last read to.  I couldn't decide on SOTW. Are we having a new thread? Should I be doing a new chart?

Thanks for the chart Chieveley.  :)
I noticed that we've lost almost 7.5 stone between us and your own is the average half of target.  :)
Tete has excelled herself and lost more than her target. Hopefully the birthday weekend hasn't done too much damage.
Would you be willing to keep score again? It's 7 weeks to Easter if we wanted a new thread.  :)
