    Hi all,

Quick update on DH - ECG results from both the doctors and the hospital suggested there was a problem with his heart, but a chest xray didn't show up anything.

He got back about 6am. I decided to go to bed after 3am, when he texted me to say it would be at least another 1.5 hrs.

He has to wait for an appt to come through with a cardiologist.

The bread pudding went down well!

Thanks for the update Abbafan. Glad to hear DH is back home. Hope he doesn't have to wait too long for an appointment to come through.

Thanks for letting us know abbafan . Hardly the way you and your DH planned to see the new year in. :( As they've sent him home to wait for an appointment, then it doesn't sound as if they're too worried. Fingers crossed it comes through soon. :)

My team won today! :j So bubbly syns are being enjoyed. :D Just about to put the corned beef hash in the oven. It's extra synful today as I followed the recipe and used LO cream.

You threw me for a minute bubbs . Because we had 3 o'clock football today it feels like a Saturday and I was expecting picky tea! :D

Back on plan tomorrow. Definitely! :D

    Happy New Year everyone.

Sorry to hear your DH is not home, hope everything is OK and he's home soon.

Chieveley for some reason I can't open the chart - the link just says it can't find the page.

    Denise

Apologies, thought it looked to small so went to redo it, many tries later and I am waving my white flag in surrender. DH has attempted to look at the script/code and as seems I am getting errors with postimage. Rebooted & no better. Hopefully there is a glitch on their site which will get fixed when they are back in the office.

I have been on plan for most of the day - just finished off my bottle of Martini Asti, so it's not lingering about!

Had an SW meal for tea (Paella), wasn't too bad.

As I'm back to work tomorrow, it's back to salads and the like for lunch to stay on plan.

Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone. x

    Happy New Year everyone :D

Thanks for the new thread Beanie

Chieveley could you put me on the chart for 7lb target please?

It has been a stressful NYE with one of my adult sons in hospital in the cardiac unit. He's been getting progressively worse with his general health all year. Culminated in him essentially collapsing at home, and younger son came home from work to find him and got him to A&E. He was at risk of cardiac arrest and brain issues due to dangerously low potassium and sodium (amongst other things). He has gastric issues, that have been ongoing for years, and he is now just skin and bone. Heartbreaking to witness, and feeling powerless to be of any great use. We are hoping that he will now receive the medical support he has been struggling to access for the past 2 years. *crosses fingers*

No surprise to discover that I am a further 3lb heavier than last week, which makes a grand total of 8lb gained since August last year. That's it, no more! Line drawn, pulling up my big girl pants and had a stern word with myself. I've had enough to worry about these past few months, but losing weight and improving my own health had been the main good thing to come out of the past year.

    Food plan today:
    B - banana & satsuma
L - porridge HEB with water, sugar (1), apple slices (1.5) & cinnamon
    D - 4 x Aldi skinny sausages (1 syn each I think, so 4), mash & baked beans. Gravy (2)
    snack - 1 cracker (2.5)
    HEA - milk in tea/coffee

Back to work tomorrow. Not looking forward to it, but it does offer structure in my days, and makes me too busy to eat, so that's something positive.

Welcome to any newbies and those returning, and thanks for the continued support of the 'regulars'. Bubbs I still want you to cook my dinners for me, they look so yummy!
