No not tried them. will look out for them :D although i rarely have hexb, although having a waffle tonight:D:D:D

Bubbs dunno how you do it, not having HEb most days, it is the thing I look forward to most :D. Either as hifi bars as a treat in evening, or as baked oats like lil cakey things, or overnight grape nuts which tastes like cheesecake ;). I guess we’re all different. I rarely have my second HEa, forget about it most days, sometimes have 1 or 2 of my 3 cheese squares ;). Which reminds me, I should add some grated cheese to my quiches I hope to make today :).

    Have a good day everyone!

  • Hello all!

Welcome MrsButler! I've been tracking my exercise on the main site within the 'planner' section, but I've just looked on the app and it isn't under 'planner' and I can't see anywhere else to input it... maybe someone else can help, but otherwise you might have to log in to the site?

I had quite a syn heavy day yesterday with 14 so hoping to reduce that a bit today.

    B - Alpen Light x2
D - Pasta, pesto (3), bacon, onion, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes
T - Carrot and lentil soup
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Alpen Lights
    Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), pesto (3), hot chocolate (2) = 9

I have half a bag of carrots to use up and am LIMPING towards payday, so going to make another batch of the spiced carrot and lentil soup, but pad it out with some leeks and onion as well.

Going to treat myself to the 2CC book on Friday and make something delicious at the weekend with my new-found wealth!

I'm back home. Had a nice break and stuck to plan with food but Syns were another matter! Haven't totted them up yet so no idea if I'm over for the week or not but no matter the line has been drawn and I'm back on it today with no alcohol! I even chose a steak, jacket & veg when we ate out yesterday and had a G&T with it (just the one!).

Welcome Mrs Butler. Well done on what you have already lost before joining SW. As others have said feel free to post any queries on here and also your menu plans if you want to. I find it helps me to post most days - but not always possible when I'm away from home! Internet was a bit intermittent over the past few days so I'd read some posts but not all.

Have decided I'm got going to group tomorrow but will leave it until next week to give myself a chance to get back into target properly rather than hovering at the top or just over!

    Today's plan:

    B - 2 boiled eggs & soldiers - HEB; P; 3.5
    L - HM carrot & lentil soup
    D - mixed bean goulash & rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 10g butter 3.5

Just realised typing that out it's actually a Green day plan so if I'm peckish this evening I could have some Ryvita & cheese:D

  • Another one here who likes the sound of the beetroot wraps.

Having syyned badly on Sunday, been trying to reverse that so that I can at least maintain tomorrow. Went to see Joseph & the Technicolour Dreamcoat last night which involved eating out beforehand. Was terrified about the syns, but scored a blinder as I decided we should go to a Turkish restaurant, while it may not have at as much speed as I would have like, there was no synning involved, other than a little hummous with the falafel, and the food was fantastic, it was hot (as in temperature, not spice), I like my food hot, light. However, despite the scarcity of speed, I actually had probably 2/3 speed for breakfast & lunch, so did eat a fair bit throughout the entirety of the day.

Anybody finding the cold weather playing havoc with their bladder, I am continually nipping to the loo:eek::o

Wonder how Mrs Ryan is doing, big day rapidly approaching?
A smile costs little but creates much :)

    Thank you. Felt a bit poorly this morning, so just had a light breakfast;

B: Alpen Light Bar (HEX B)

L: Jacket potatoes with 30g cheddar (HEX A) and mushrooms, lots of beetroot on the side!
D: Having a M&S Perfectly Balanced Meal. Beef and Red wine Casserole at 5.5 syns.
Syns: Had a couple of cups of tea at a friends (2) and will have a hot choc this evening (2).

I have ordered the beetroot wraps in my shopping order, to be delivered tomorrow. They are currently half price in Mr.T!!

Hope you enjoyed your short break denise.:)

If you like beef in red wine Mrs Butler, you should try the Tesco red wine stock cubes. I make my usual recipe ( just
2 syns of cornflour shared) and substitute that for the wine and my DH doesn't even realise. It's excellent. :)

I have to ask, first if it's OK to call you MrsB and whether you're 'related' to the Alan Ahlberg Mrs Butler?;)

I looked for the Body Magic too. It's a FIT log you want but I couldn't see it.

I adore Turkish food gtq but might there have been some oil used in cooking?

WI for me tomorrow. I'm really hoping to have shifted the necessary half pound but can't say I really feel any different although I've had a good week and have just under 20 syns left.

    Today's EE plan:
    B: NAS grapefruit (F), 2 boiled eggs (P). HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L: JP (F) with cottage cheese (P), beetroot and spring onion (S)
D: SW Bolognese (P,S) with tagliatelle (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns: 0

Thanks for reply Poundsinbucks, can't quote on my phone. February is usually Free food February so I wonder if the book is aimed at that? Please let us know if you get a nose at it?
