Glad you packed the gin DeniseYou are welcome, those little tart things are nice too
Well done on getting your breakfasts sorted FE.
I made some tartlets/mini quiches yesterday. I used LM sausages as a thin case, sprinkled with chopped peppers, mushrooms, spring onions and baby sweetcorn then topped up with beaten egg. Very easy while I had the oven on for dinner.
I portioned up the lentil soup for the freezer so a few lunches sorted.
I started today with 22 syns left and no plans to use any more after today so hopeful of losing the half pound to get back to target range.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L: ham (P), fried potatoes (F), fried vegetables and pickles (S)
D:chicken stir fry (P, S) with noodles (F)
Syns: honey in stir fry sauce 2.50 -

Good evening gang,
Have just had a catch up on the last few days. Have simply been too busy to fit in much time on here.
Have a lovely time away Denise. Would love to have a bit of a getaway right now, but I've no time off until the very end of March. OH and I spent hours last week trying to find a holiday for later this year. Prices seem to be very high we've noticed, and we do have quite set criteria to choose somewhere. We are now thinking perhaps wait until much later in the year to book a late getaway and hope we get something we like, and better value.
The weekend was a bit pear shaped plan-wise. Too much bread was consumed to be within plan. Anyway, need to plan ahead to ensure that's not happening each week, because it undermines any effort put in beforehand and after.
Today's plan:
B - banana, 0% strawberry yogurt (0.5)
L - porridge HEB, apple, sugar (2), milk from HEA1; sugar free jelly (0.5) mango chunks & cream (3)
D - pasta with chicken, bacon, celery, mushrooms, onions, spinach, garlic, passata, tsp oil (2), parmesan HEA2
Snack - KP pufts (3.5)
I've been fully on plan today, no slips, no sneaks, fully accountable. That's a proper day 1 done. Now to make it another one tomorrow.
I've prepared a speedy soup tonight too in the soup maker. Picked up a bag of mixed soup veg in Heron for 7p after work. Couple of stock cubes, some chopped onion & half a celery stick, and it smells great. Going to ensure I eat regularly tomorrow, and not get too hungry at work, which is something I can tend to do.
Bubbs I love the look of the egg/sausage muffins. Great idea. I don't cook a large quiche anymore because it's only me here who would eat it, and the large size I made before was shared between me and DS2. I think something on an individual size scale would be perfect.
Chieveley thanks for the chart, much appreciatedOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Hello Mrs Butler welcome to our lovely thread. Well done on your loss so far. Good luck for continued success too
Tete I have been trying to have a more positive attitude, and life is a little calmer within the family atm, so it helps free up some headspace to do so. Isn't it irritating that real life can have such a negative impact on you mentally and physically?
Bubbs I also liked the sound of Maman's 'enhanced' little tartlets. I like the idea of putting some peppers and onions into them. I have suggested them to my colleague who has recently joined and is struggling with snacks (doesn't like fruit other than bananas, or veg).
Plan today:
B - porridge HEB with cinnamon & apples (2), sugar (1) and milk from HEA1
L - HM mixed winter veg soup; sugar-free jelly (0.5) with mango chunks and banana, light cream (2)
D - Powters skinny sausages (2); mash & veg or beans, gravy (2)
Potential snacks: KP Pufts (3.5) or a hot choc later on using a dolce gusto pod & choc shot (6.5)
I'm feeling quite full after breakfast and lunch, so think I will just wait until this evening to have dinner and see how I feel after that. If I have veg with my dinner rather than beans I may allow myself the hot choc.
Have a good day allOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Welcome MrsButler. It's good that you have a SW buddy in RL but do post on here too and feel free to ask any questions.:)
Those tartlets I made were very much trial and error. When I read about bubbs' muffins I got a couple of LM sausages out to defrost. I don't have a muffin tin so I squashed them down into a normal patty tin and decided that I really should add some Speed. I forgot to say I topped each one with a slice of cherry tomato too. I just snacked on them but they'd be good for lunch with some soup or salad. I think they'd work OK without the LM sausages too or a slice of bacon in the bottom. I'll definitely make them again.
Change of plan today because DH and I won't be home together at dinnertime. A bit of an eggy day but I think I'll have an omelette as it'll be quick but filling.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), HEB toast, HWA milk, fried egg (P)
L: lentil and veg soup (P,S), LO stir fry (F,S)veggie omelette (P,S), beetroot S) cottage cheese, ham (P)
Syns: 0
I started today on 19.5 syns and that's probably it until WI on Thursday unless I fancy anything else. I could use them but I think I'll just leave it in case of any poor estimating.0
