It's strange Chieveley but I like the Aldi sausages. I suppose we all have different tastes but always worth a try.:)
Thanks so much for taking on the chart. It's so motivating and well done on your loss! :T0 -
Maman - have book Eurotunnel to France. Not sure whether we're going to stay in France or travel into Belgium and/or Germany.
Original plan was to drive over to Normandy and then work our way down into Britanny but we'll decide once we get to France, same as we usually do. We never seem to stick to what we plan which is why we don't plan, IYKWIM.
Chievely - think it's sensible to make the chart end on Saturday, that way everyone's weight losses/gains/STS will be within the same week. Thanks for volunteering to do the chart. I think lots have people have missed not having that visual - it's so much easier to see who's done what in a chart.

Morning all, another machine load of washing done and hung on line and it's blowing very nicely so hopefully should be dry early afternoon before it starts getting damp again.
Have made DH a steamed suet pudding which is steaming away in the kitchen. Should be ready for him to have some at lunchtime.
I've been 100% on plan since WI on Thursday - that's got to be a first for me - I usually go over on a Friday night but stuck with just 3 small glasses of wine for 15 Syns.
Got to pop out again as DH used up all the tomatoes for breakfast this morning so need to get some more for tomorrow's fry up!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - bacon, egg P; beans F; mushrooms, tomatoes S
L - Welsh rarebit - bread HEB; cheese HEA; egg P; Worcester sauce, mustard powder F
D - sausages 2 syns; mash F; egg P; cabbage, green beans S
HEA - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; probably a couple of G&Ts this evening:D

Have a great time on your holiday when it comes denise. There's a feature in my paper this morning about holidays in France. I was surprised at how much of the country we've visited over the years. I'm hoping we can do a short break in the next couple of months as we had such a great time in Holland before Christmas.
Which chicken curry recipe do you use arkers? I wasn't impressed with the one I made last week (from a SW magazine) so on the lookout for a better one.

TIE - can't find those particular sourdough baguettes but M&S sourdough ones are 6.5 syns per 50g!
Heinz cream of chicken soup is 4.5 for 290g tin and 6.5 for 400g tin.
Change of plan for lunch as we were still out at lunchtime so popped into Wetherspoons. DH had fish & chips and I had a jacket with beans & salad so still on plan. Also had a G&T but unfortunately DH forgot to ask for slimline so I only drank half of it and he had the other half! Need to check the syns but I think probably about 3.5.
Also decided to make Boulanger potatoes instead of mash for dinner tonight. Haven't made these for ages and saw the recipe in my folder when I was looking for something else.

Sounds like the Christmas goodies are still getting to you tie. Couldn't you feed them to DH and DS?

DD1 came round earlier before I had a chance to post my menu.
I've batch cooked some swede and carrot mash and celeriac with a bit of potato. I'll keep some out for tomorrow and freeze the rest.
I'm out dancing tonight and it's a shared supper. I'm taking smoked salmon and there are lots of salads. I'll be driving so no weekend wine. Only syns will be salad dressing /mayo.
Today's EE plan :
B : NAS grapefruit, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porage, HEA milk
L: veggie omelette (P, S), beetroot (S), cottage cheese, ham(P)tbc

Hello Maman, - I'm sad to say that I don't actually follow a recipe for my curry, I'm a bit of a chuck it in with various curry spices (madras strength normally). However I always use a bit of ginger, frozen spinach and chick peas, peppers, chopped tinned tomatoes, and mushrooms to bulk it out. I do put tomato puree, garlic, stock cube and a small amount of sweetner in too (I know sweetner is discouraged and now synned, but it takes away that tartness which I hate and it's a tiny amount.)
Arkers x0
