Had a sort out of my make-up the other day and got rid of a heap of stuff that was either ancient or I'm clearly never going to wear. On work days, I usually stick on a bit of mascara and lipstick but other than that, I rarely bother. I think the last time I wore a full face of make-up would have been for my works Christmas night out.
Cut the top of various toiletries that were ending - shampoo, conditioner, body moisturiser and hand lotion. I seem to have a never-ending supply of half used hand lotions so I must get them all used up before opening a new one.
Made a banana loaf yesterday to use up very ripe bananas and added in a half bag of choc chips that I found. Tea tonight is going to be thai green curry - there's some chicken defrosting and a variety of veg in the fridge that needs using up.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.9.25 - £105,664.31

I hadn't realised how long it had been since I had posted so I thought I better give an update:Minimised:- Two small balls of wool into another baby hat.- Minimised fabric from stash into facemasks for the family in anticipation of the Government saying we will have to wear them.- Sorted and cleared another folder of papers.Make Do:- I had a load of veg that needed using up so I did a veg stew with no particular recipe and made two main meals and blitzed what was left into 8 portions of soup.- I needed some bread but instead of going to the shop to buy yeast free bread, which I should eat really, I made some bread with some yeast I had left over in my fridge from previous baking accomplishments.Mend:No mends to report on this occasion.Stay safe all.

Make do - often with cooking recently - changing ingredients needed.
Reused a couple of larger decorative flower pots when I reported my house plants.
Minimise - lots has left the house - various clothing, diy stuff and cards from my stash to list a few.
Mend- the garden fence to stop a dog coming in.9 -
Evening Peeps,
not posted for a while - does not mean I am not still trying.:)
Make do-
Cut up plastic bottle to get the dregs from as had decanted into another bottle of same type of conditioner, and saved space.
Getting hand creams lined up in order of to be used. Found a face night cream that if found too heavy so forgot to keep using it. It makes a brill hand cream especially in the more hand wash times we are in.
DH wood off cuts from his posh shed to be used in the loft for some more flooring and smaller bits to make some shelving for my craft stuff.
Minimise -
Removed some boxes stored in the loft to be reused for parcels, it really has got too many at this time.
Shredded paperwork
The (useful) clutter in my car I had been carrying around for a while. Carry bag of DS old reading book, passed onto a friend who is starting to foster children.
Had a gift of relaxation in a carry bag that was to be re gifted. All my friends don't have a bath.
Found a work colleague during conversation who was in need of said items.
Mend -
Found suggestions of how to mend and coverup by a make do on a lovely cashmere top
Stay safe peeps

We've had to get a new small fridge-freezer for our rented flat, and the old one's being collected tomorrow to be dismantled and the component pars recycled...
So we've been going round measuring and thinking and we're keeping all the inside bits! We've got all the plastic strips off the glass shelves, leaving just useful rectangles of plain toughened glass.
The bathroom has a wide ledge, full of odd bits and pieces all piled on top of each other so you can't find anything - we will use one glass shelf, and the half-depth bottom freezer-drawer below that, possibly with one of he narrow half-depth fridge glass shelves above it for other bits. Doubling our storage space and making it easier to use.
Two more freezer-shelves will go as easy-grab storage boxes on my upper shelves in the bedroom, to keep pyjamas and shorts in one, and a clutter of tangled scarves and oddments and cats-cradle of tights in the other; lightweight and easier to reach down from 6' up, with there being a handle built-in!
The last freezer-drawer will fit into a single narrow wardrobe we use for storage in the boxroom, and the other glass shelf and narrow half-shelf will be used as cutting boards in the kitchen.

Hi everyone
Make do: Still mainly eating 'older' food from the back of the cupboards, freezer etc In the garden a neighbour has given me some wire shelves than I have utilised for the outdoor cucumbers to grow up, and the old fencing has been made into raised bed borders as the wood is still sound and painted with left over fence paint to protect them!
Minimise: Still having a sort out and using up 'stuff' ie painting outside wall with masonary paint from shed, so slowly making more room in there and not buying new fence paint etc.so minimising money spent.
Mend: cut the top off two jersey dresses that were too big and in the CS bag, put elastic in for a waistband and got two 'new' skirts!! one is ok and the other is more for house and garden wear!!!
The lockdown is making me realise how wasteful I can be even though I thought I was quite frugal!!
