Evening all
Me and OH have finally sorted out the cupboard of doomthere's 2 bags to go to the charity shop once it reopens, 1 bag for the tip and 1 bag of rubbish. We then put carpet down on the floor using a few pieces leftover from when we got the flat carpeted a few years ago. It actually only took an hour or so to sort out once we started and it looks so much better. I've also sorted out a cupboard in the kitchen and given it a good clean. My plan is to do one a week.
Made some cheese scones this evening to use up some out of date yoghurt and a big cheese and tomato frittata to use up some cherry tomatoes. Keep safe and well everyone

Good Morning,
Make do: First BBQ of the year 🥳 No buns, so had to make do with pita bread.
Mend: Reattached one of the ties from an apron I brought home from school months ago. Now it will sit around for ages waiting to go back again. 🙄
Minimise: Still using up reclaimed bricks on the garden allotment. Emptied the compost heap, and planted up rtc plants from Morrisons. DH processing piles of branches into Fuel for the woodburner, kindling, compost bin etc.

Third week of lock down just started but it feels a lot longer. On the plus side since I can't go anywhere much the allotment has received a lot of care and attention as has the garden. The flat is also looking in good order. I have sown some parsnip and beetroot seeds now and put some pumpkin seeds into pots in the greenhouse for the nephews and niece in case we all do get to the point when they can join me at the allotment. Anyway, on to the MMMs.Minimise:Used up some more wool to make a premature baby hat for the collection that is slowly growing for the local premature baby unit.Finished a book which I will take to the book swap at work when we eventually do go back.Finished up some fabric to make a quilted bag for my yoga mat and kit.Made Do:Made coleslaw to use up some veg that was getting passed its best. It was delicious so I may not bother buying it in future.Made some birthday cards as I can't buy any.Mends:Repaired some opaque tights.Repaired some socks.

Good Morning fellow MMMers,
Make do: Used up the end of a ball of wool to make a prem baby cannula cover. (More difficult than I thought). 🙄
Planted up a collection of pails with trailing geraniums. They are now hanging from a trellis, made by my students. Very pleased with this little project.
Mend: Nothing.
Minimise: Made a compost bin from 3 pallets. (I helped DH, but it was my idea).

Good Evening Folks,
Make do: I am crocheting a rainbow for the window, from a stash of random balls of wool. Spending far too much time on Pinterest looking for birthday card ideas to make for DD and DH.
Mend: Dismantled a garden bench, which was rotten and rickety. The back will become trellis, and the seat will be replaced with decking planks and repainted to become a new bench.
Minimise: I have a little pile of stuff near the door to return to people, plus a couple of bags for the charity shop. Consolidated the spice and herb container. Now have 3 spice jars to find a use for.
Have a lovely evening 🙂

Currently eating out of the freezer and cupboard as trying to avoid going to the supermarket if I can. I finish work at 8am on Wednesday morning so planning to go then as it will hopefully be nice and quiet. I'll buy enough to hopefully get us to the end of the month other than a quick top up at the local shop for milk and bread.
Off work for 4 days from Wednesday so have made a wee list of things that need done round the flat and garden.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.9.25 - £105,664.31
