The lockdown is really making me look at what jobs I have outstanding that won't cost money to carry out and I'm seriously catching up which is quite a nice feeling but I am getting tired of my own company. Anyway the MMM's I have done since I last posted are:Minimise:- Made some more bits for the local premature baby unit from my stash of baby wool.- Threw out an old blind that was in my kitchen as it was impossible to clean. After I decorated the kitchen I didn't really want to put up a dirty blind again.- Following decorating my kitchen I cleared out a load of old jars and bottles that I was keeping just in case. I had far too many.- I also cleared out some old books from the kitchen that I haven't used for years and which are past their best so are only fit for the recycling bin.- Used up some half used packets of ingredients to make up flapjacks.Made Do:- Some old fruit was getting a bit passed its best so I baked it and used it as a pudding.- Some courgettes were getting a bit old so I made a courgette cake out of them.- I tidied up the edges and path in the allotment by using an old slab and some old bricks that I had stashed behind the shed.- I was a bit low on my compost store so I emptied what was left in the compost heap to stock up. I should be okay for a while.- I found some old potatoes that were starting to shoot in my cupboard so I have put them in some soil to see if I get some in the next harvest.Mend:- Re-decorated the kitchen.

I'm feeling rather drained at the moment. I am concentrating so much on getting jobs done that I don't seem to be having any downtime. I have next Friday off so I am planning on having a quiet weekend next weekend. Anyway back to the MMM's.Made Do:Made broccoli and stilton soup to use up veg.Made a veg au gratin - well if was veg in a white sauce that I just conjured up to use up veg that was getting passed its best.Minimised:I decided to get rid of a handbag it has a habit of the zip jamming and proving difficult for me to open it up again. It did it again on Saturday and I couldn't get it undone for hours. Its had its last chance.I also knitted some more baby stuff. My pile of wool is slowly decreasing.Mend:I put up a blind that I needed to install without any help from anyone else. That's all I can think of at the moment for this week.
