Good morning,
our beloved family dog passed away on Friday night, so we have not done anything much, except be sad.......
Make do: I will need a baby welcome card and some birthday cards soon........found an idea on Pinterest to make, using up scraps of material.
Mend: DH fell over in the shed and broke the handle on the lawnmower. GTech refusing to sell a replacement part as we bought it from a catalogue shop. DS and DH have worked out a Heath Robinson solution.
Minimise: A couple of dresses to the CS bag.
Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Sorry for your loss, House elf 🙁 It is hard to lose a pet at any time but I think more so now in the current situation 🙁Be Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Save Lives. ⭐️2025 Savings Pot Challenge: As a monthly amount, running total = £469.00

Sorry for your loss House Elf. A very sad time for you.Its been a strange couple of weeks but it has made me think more about what I can make use of at home as we can't really go "shopping" at the moment. I have done the following:MinimiseTook a bag of stuff to the charity shop.Made another premature baby cardigan.Made DoI had a sort through all my seeds as the garden centres are shut now and I have decided to sow the ones I already have rather than buying any new ones. I have sowed all the broad beans I had now at the allotment and in the garden veg patch.MendNo mends as such.

Crafty little Lisa, I have done something similar with my seeds -went online shopping and filled a basket with the ones I wanted, then made myself collect up all the ones I already had and there was only one missing - Romanescu and to be honest, we can do without. Got one half of the allotment prepped, seeds sown and plenty more to be going on with.
In line with the lockdown advice, we listed food in house and meal planned so we can last until 7th April without shopping, despite my 10 year old's protestations that we have nothing to eat.
Made some re-useable kitchen wipes with a bolt of cotton I was gifted some months back - even after the CV issue is over, we'll use these and save money and the planet.

Good morning,
Thank you for your kind thoughts about our Rosie dog. ☹️Make do: I have finished the baby welcome card. DD is also making cards from a kit she was given as a present. You scrape off a black layer to reveal a rainbow beneath. They are all Unicorns, so will make great cards for her friends. (She is 26 🤣).
Mend: DH has taken down the stair gate, as no need to stop Rosie creeping upstairs in the middle of the night. The stairs seem so much wider!
Minimise: I have started to consolidate the cupboards in the utility. We are planning to have a downstairs bathroom installed when this is all over, so need to empty a big floor to ceiling cupboard.Need to do some paid work today, but it looks beautiful outside. I will have to resist the temptation to get out into the garden! Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Good afternoon MMMers,
Make do: Working on the veg garden. Used lots of reclaimed bricks for the paths, and we have repurposed containers for the raised beds. I am pleased. Just hope I can grow some stuff!
Mend: DS2 has had to keep mending the wheelbarrow, as the bolts keep loosening as he brings the bricks down the garden. He has also fixed the water dispenser on the fridge freezer………. I knew that BTecEngineering would be useful one day. 🙂
Minimise: Sold a couple of things on EBay. (I can post them at the supermarket, so only one essential journey).Have a lovely evening 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)
