Depends on where you bank, but quite a few banks now allow you to take a photo of a cheque and they will credit your account. I know my halifax account does that so might be worth investigating

I just checked ( chequed ) , and that seems to be the quickest way with nationwide .
I would've preferred taking a photo instead .

Washout weekend 💦💦. Saw nobody .A bit like the beginning of lockdown . I made progress in tidying up clutter in kitchen on Friday .
When James eventually becomes available , I'll have everything in control storage wise
( yeah, right 😹) . The carpet needs shampooing also .I've been recording stuff on soundcloud , and almost got taken in from a small outfit who wanted to promote my tracks . I'm not paying $50 thank you very much . Nice try tho'
This morning a van pulled up in the block . It's a damp proofing and wood treatment co.
They are upstairs in one of the flats above . Initially , it looks like it could be the flat where the large family were . They did wreck the flat , and flooded it at one time and the downstairs neighbour had water coming through his flat .💦
It may be the druggies flat , but I doubt it .So far, the new tenants have been fine 🤞 . The only thing of note , is that they seem to have changed bedroom setup from previous tenants . The noise I hear now, is on the other side of my living room . I'm not moaning , but explaining .This week there are a few things to do : pay service charges , see Mrs dentist 🦷,
exercise 🏋️, a possible phonecall from work related chap, possibly see friend , walking when I can and avoid the rain 💦.
Not sure if tomorrow is another phone chat with mr trainer, 📞, or a workout 🥵
I've just been for a walk now , and will do something later on the exercise front 🏋️I'll leave it there

I had a washout weekend too AC
Glad the new tenants are ok.
Hope you enjoyed your walk. I had a cycle ride and enjoyed it after being cooped up.
Have a relaxing evening. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I managed to download a couple of audiobooks on Sunday , and started to listen to one last night . They are both from rock legends sammy Hagar, and Rob Halford frontman of Judas Priest . I chose to listen to the Halford one first . I wish I didn't . I listen to audiobooks in bed 🛌, but the first 10 minutes had me in stitches . Not ideal when I'm trying to sleep . 💤. Listening to a but more last night , was a bit 'too much information '
so, I'll leave that there .This morning there was a bit more banging upstairs , but not from the damp / woodworm co. I think on closer listening it may well be the druggies flat as his bedroom is above mine and that's where the noise was coming from. Not complaining obviously , but an observation . It may be that the owners will be selling . I'm enjoying things more at 5he moment 🤞so won't dwell .
I went for another walk , at the right time . Yesterday and today , a couple of people said hello which was unexpected . Maybe they've noticed the sad loneley man going back and forth over the last few weeks and realise I'm not trying to steal from cars 🚗
I saw one of the gardeners 🦚who was by my window area, and asked him to reduce the bushes from my living room window . Very nice chap . I don't want to be like victor meldrew , but it's best to get this sorted before Xmas 🎄
Mr trainer🏋️ had to cancel today . I will have a live session on Friday 🥵
I may do something later, but I woke up around 2.30am and had issues getting out of bed 🛌.
I had a late Tesco delivery last night 🛒. 9.45 pm
Il'll leave it there ..🌦4 -
I caught up with Gardens World last night, and they had a bit about the garden of Fish from Marillion. of course, he also has a music studio in his garden! He said gardening was the new rock'n'roll!I'm an ex Londoner, and I remember when we moved to Wales, being surprised by people passing our gate, saying hello! Have to say, I quite like it, and it felt really good for my mental health when we were in the first lockdown and out for our daily walk. Just that little bit of human interaction made such a difference.6

Since you've been going for walks you sound more cheerful. Might be coincidence. The extra bounce might be due to PIP getting sortedIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks @Gigervamp😼
I like fish🐠as a character . Used to listen to him on the radio when he had his own show for a time . Not a fan of marillion tbh . I might see if I can see that gardening programme on iPlayer .Thanks DIA 😼
Tbh , I think since the parties have stopped for some time and the new neighbours are good so far , the anxiety I've had for a few months has reduced for now 🤞.
The walking , and meeting my local friend weekly has also helped .Yes , the pip plus service charges have been a massive help for me .I mustn't get carried away though , and keep realistic .3
