Hi DIA 😼
I was making allowances for the delivery guy tbh . I did have an issue with the lack of sensor light coming into the building . There are switches to turn on the light in the communal area . My flat is to the left of the communal area , but he just went straight upstairs .Bread and crisps ? Reducing ..very ..slowly ...😸3 -
Just remembered , I haven't done any exercise since Tuesday 🏋️ Will catchup on that tomorrow . I had notions of doing a lot of tidying today . Ended up doing a fair bit but I felt rough this morning . This is partly due to the druggy shouting on the road coming back from the pub or wherever . He banged around a bit randomly throughout the night, but that's because he was out of it . Thankfully , there was nobody else and there have been no parties since June 🤞I received the courtesy call from the work relations chap this afternoon . Random and rushed, but he is a nice guy who cares . He reminded me about the computer course I cancelled ( but I forgot to give final answer phone call ) . His office is closed one moment and open the next and vice versa. He says that I should stick to the way I'm doing things and cancelling the course is the sensible thing to do .Yesterday , I received a text which initially I thought was a scam .It was from the centre for sustainable energy . They are contacting me as the edf warm home discount scheme . A £140 rebate on my electric bill is now open and I may qualify.
So , I received a call this afternoon as I gave permission for them to check my eligibility.
The call sounds good . I let them know I'm on universal credit and ltd capability for work
They will check with DWP and if that's enough then in jan I will have the payment . I may have to tick boxes on email. If not, fair enough .I'll leave it there ...5 -
AC - thought of you the last couple of days as we were staying in your neck of the woods in our motorhome at the Sandown holiday park in Poole. We visited Weymouth and Bournemouth - got drenched in Bournemouth and sunstroke in WeymouthDebt free and Keeping on Track2

Hope you enjoyed your break . Yes, the weather has been patchy of late.Weather changing altogether now, with cooler temperatures and darker nights .
Have you had any more thoughts about moving ?1 -
Well, no exercise since last Tuesday 🏋️🙀.Then again , I have had a ( fairly ) valid excuse . I have put the desk and music equipment back into the small bedroom . Final answer . It means that I have stuff scattered around the flat that needs to be put somewhere . When James is free , everything should be eventually sorted and the flat will be just the way I want it. I'm not stressing about it now , as I know the untidy hallway and bedrooms is temporary .
On sat, I met friend for coffee. 🍮This entailed another walk to Poole quay and back again.
Thankfully , I'm able to keep up . It was cooler but sunny. I like it that way .
Feeling very tired , drained and lazy at the moment , altough I'm keeping the walking up a few days a week.🐾
No dentist this week .🦷. I have to cancel that appointment for wisdom tooth removal in the new Forest due next Saturday afternoon . Totally impractical .I'll leave it there..
Enjoy your week ..☀️🌦💦2 -
Hi AC - we have decided not to move. The lockdown did us a favour and we realised that we live in a lovely part of the world and have a nice house. DH did loads of stuff to the house and garden during the lockdown. Also now we have both taken early retirement we realise we can live within our means in our present house. I had originally wanted to move so we could release some equity in the house and get something a bit smaller. However, taking into account costs for moving etc, we have decided to stay put for the next few years at any rate.Debt free and Keeping on Track3

A few more things going on ..
I received an email from universal credit and had to log in to my journal. Not sure if it's a generated message or not ,as there was a link in my journal telling me all things I'm not claiming on universal credit . I replied thanking them , and asking if it was a general message to anyone on u c . I also mentioned that maybe it could be EDF checking to see if I'm eligible for their affordable warmth scheme . When I did that , I mentioned I may get a one off paynent in Jan/ Feb . Then I realised the wording was incorrect abd said that ,it was a possible rebate on my electricity and not a one off payment. The wording is important in case I get sanctioned etc . I haven't seen any response just yet.
I thought It best to cancel the dental appointment🦷 to remove wisdom tooth in the new forest on Saturday afternoon .🐿🐗🐺 When I looked at the letter , it said the appointment was about a biopsy 🙀. Turned out that was a mistake thankfully , but distressing while I'm awaiting call back . I now have to await letter for another appointment ,and as I don't drive it is annoyingly difficult to attend ..plus my reluctance to go on any form of transport at the moment .🚗🚌🏍🛴
Yesterday , session with mr trainer 🏋️ Was a telephone discussion 📞and change of program etc He is impressed. The walking 🐾has increased , and the way forward is train/ walk / and rest after walking 🐾.
He likes the way I use the online videos , while he has people who don't use them . Very odd. It seems to be a mental block for some . For me it's a godsend .
Sleeping patterns varying again . A few consecutive good nights , followed by a few bad ones 💤🛌
The managing agents need to get those "gardeners" around soon.🦚 I have received 6 monthly bill for service charges and ground rent. Thankfully , universal credit is covering this but I have to make sure that the money they pay doesn't get touched .No walking today , as. It's raining 💦. Rain is forecast for the next week , so I'll try and get out when it's not too bad 🐾💦💦
I'll leave it there ..🌦4 -
After feeling ropey and basically unwell , over the last few weeks I have received some fantastic news this morning . I have received a letter from DWP regarding my PIP assessment 13 days ago . Bear in mind 🐻 I understood that I shouldn't expect to hear anything for anything up to 8 weeks and expect to be unsuccessful .The letter was the first really personal letter from the DWP actually by a proper assesssor so to speak . Anyhow , I managed to score 12 points and am awarded the standard rate of £59.70 a week to help with my daily living needs from 10 June 2020- 17 September 2024.
I didn't qualify for mobility needs. The bizarre thing upon opening the letter( and almost jumping for joy), is the first page tells me how much I will get etc
Then looking more closely , looking at the decision summary, I'm surprised I got awarded anything at all. Now , regarding payments : Yesterday they paid £904.03 into my account
This is money that they owe me from 10 June - 23 sept 2020.The payments I receive in future will be every 4 weeks in arrears on a Thursday .I suppose the Limited Capability for work May have contributed to their decision, who knows?Other stufff : woke up around 12.30 am . Then at 4 am . Unwell
managed to force myself to do exercise earlier,🏋️ and now have to go for a walk in the sunshine☀️ before rain in the evening .💦
I'll leave it there ..
Enjoy the sunshine for now ..🌦4
