AC watch those "few chocolate bars" or you will be undoing all the good work you have done! Glad your tooth extraction isn't giving you problems. I have had several teeth extracted in the past and it usually takes me 9 days before I am pain free.Debt free and Keeping on Track4

I have cut most of the ice cream and ice lollies which I have bern scoffing for months .
hardly any in 2 weeks .
Pringles and crisps have stopped from today .TBH, I'm not sure about the bread being stopped ( although it's whole meal ) . I think restricted is the honest word to use here .In all honesty , the lockdown caused many of us to put on loads .I'm just properly getting to grips with it now , due to the camera not lying and the difficulty doing harder stuff with mr trainer 🏋️🥵
More discipline needed 😸4 -
Well done stopping the Pringles and crisps. I'm the same. I keep having to stop eating the foods that are not good for me but it isn't easy!
It must be lovely where you are with this early Autumn sunshine. Lucky you.
I met a woman in the coffee shop when I went to the new area. She said she didn't live there, but she needed to get out of the city for the day. I know what she means...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks DIA 😼
My mad brother has the right idea ( I think ) of having either a Friday or Saturday as a junk day eating what you want ..then totally behaving yourself the rest of the week .Food for thought ..🥐
You will soon be at the place which suits you DIA , and any stress you may have will be much less once you're settled .🦆🐿🦔🌳
just had the phone assessment with the lady from pip. I won't hear anyhing for a few weeks . The assessment goes to a panel who judge if I'm deemed to qualify for it.
Like most of my universal journey , I'm sitting back expecting to be declined , then appeal and repeat .The lady I spoke to did advise me to contact Mrs doctor / occupational health regarding me saying that maybe I should have had a shower installed instead of replacing the bath/ shower with another . They did say an occupational therapist would watch me the whole day , and assess what might help me . Not sure if that's a good idea tbh
I put up a good case though I believe .All I can do, is keep going the way I have been , do as instructed and hope for the best .
One other thing ( I sound like columbo) ..
I phoned the work related chap yesterday . He has been off work for a week with a bad back . He told me that they have stopped the welfare calls , as they think coronavirus has gone to low risk . Not his words but those above him . He agrees with me cancelling the college course. He did give me the choice of a phonecall next week and I thought it best to stay in contact rather than get a surprise later on when I'm forced to go back to the office when I'm not willing to do so just yet .I'll leave it there ...5 -
Fingers crossed re pip.
Glad you don't have to do the course.
Funnily enough the eating what you want 1 day a week is something a friend also does. She chooses Fridays and calls the day 'Fat Friday' where anything goes. the only problem for me is I find it quite difficult to recover from 1 bad day and it invariably becomes 2 or 3, or 4...Like you say, I'll leave it there.

Looking back at the experience with pip yesterday , and this morning briefly on the turn to us website I think there's no way I'm going to qualify for it . When I get declined, I probably won't appeal . Rather than be the moany shouty person that many are when they deal with universal credit ( being slightly stereotypical here ) , I think it's best to see the positives such as finally having my service charges paid for the flat plus the cheap new boiler etc. Plus so far, I haven't been treated appallingly bad or sanctioned as I'm doing the best I can, making the best I can in my circumstances. The people I've dealt with at various stages have been pleasant enough , so no complaints there. One thing I noticed regarding gvt pension is that you have to have had 35 years Nat insurance contributions . Heart jumped for a moment , but I realised I did 37 years up to nov2016.I'm in the middle of rearranging furniture again. Long story short, but when James does come back to do his business he has to have proper access and I'm having difficulty moving about in the small room . It has worked out well that he didn't show this week , but I should be prepared and not rushing frantically tripping over everything .Still got lots of ideas in my head , but not in a bad way .I'll leave it there..2 -
You can set an account up on the Gov website and it will tell you whether you've contributed enough and what you can expect to get with your state pension. It's worth checking to make sure everything's correct https://www.gov.uk/check-state-pension"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

Thanks @jwil😼 I spoke to someone on the phone last year who was very helpful .
He organised a starement as to what to expect ( subject to change of course) .It was well worth doing .So, the weekend was dominated by me trying to declutter for James when he gets in contact with me . This also entailed my brain cell frazzling over the potential solutions of my storage issues . One thing I did do , was to move my computer desk back into the small room...and back into the front room a day later ! I am thinking of listing a few things for sale on the next door website , but I'll wait to see James and get his take on things .Still, it's something to look forward to despite my flat looking like Beirut in places at the moment .I received an email and text from skills and learning . They may be automated , but the penny doesn't seem to have dropped that I've cancelled this term . I may email the tutor direct . I left another message today on their voicemail .
Been out for a nice walk today , and am starting round 3 shortly of tidying up .I'll leave it there ...
Enjoy the sunshine 🦅🦅🌵🌵☀️3 -
Just been to Mrs dentist ..another £250 ! Next appointment in 2 weeks time .Yesterday was busy . Had my weekly session with mr trainer 🏋️. He has changed things again and I'm struggling to keep up at times . He keeps calling me names such as" machine " and "beast " so I guess I'm doing okay . However, I do look like someone who has swallowed a football ⚽️ . We all know why 🤐
The strange thing about the beginning of the session , wa# that I got text message saying that I'm not answering my Facebook messenger video call when I was actually waiting for him . There was a glitch somewhere , but we got it going eventually .
The new phone holder was a success , and glad I chucked that tripod stand out .
I have to move it now and again, but not so bad .I had another Tesco delivery yesterday 🛒and I wasn't a happy bunny 🐰
The delivery was around 7.30 last night . I pressed intercom to let the delivery guy in .
I forgot it was dark in the communal area when I heard the guy go upstairs , so I had to call him down . It does give instructions to all delivery guys to go straight ahead .
So I'm talking to him with my mask on my chin . The groceries had no bags at all .
plus I got the wrong flavour berocca .So I managed to get customer service who don't really do refunds but did on this occasion
Annoyed with Tesco lately . They gave me substitute Heinz ketchup last week , which was ghastly. The trouble this time about the berocca is that I did tick no substitutions etc and I still got the replacement . The annoying thing about that also is that , I'm bombarded with stuff they want me to buy when I press the checkout button . Oh, well rant over .
I received a call from the college yesterday . The school mistress / receptionist I spoke, to wasn't impressed about my excuse for pulling out . She says that there are fewer cases in Dorset and to wait until the next announcement . The thing that is annoying for me, is that to go to college would be 2 buses there and 2 buses back . I'm still not happy going anywhere other than by foot locally 🐾 .I've always done above and beyond until COVID started . This computer course is of my own back . I don't like letting people down . I'll probabky phone and ask if I could be taught at home . Doubt it, but I'll ask anyway .The lady I spoke to is nice , but it feels like I'm phoning up a day off at work as a sickey 🤮when I should be working if you know what I mean .
I'll leave it there..
Enjoy the autumn weather 🌂💦🌦🍁🍁4 -
Do you need two get the management company to fit a sensor light for the communal area?
Have you stopped bread and crisps yet?
