So, we've gone from the massive heatwave into cloud . Humidity still remaining. 🌫☁️🥵
Strange week . James arrived on Thursday , without a mask . I pondered, and thought that I have to let go at sometime when it comes to Covid . He is the only person to be in my flat, since corona virus started. Anyway, he did a lot ( more to come ) , and didn't charge much at all . As I say, he will be back . He is looking online for a few cupboards to contain my clutter. He has a couple of other jobs, but I should expect to see him in sept.
The idea after that , is to get flat valued . Even if I do nothing , I should have the flat in perfect condition while I'm here.
Too hot to train since Tuesday , although me and mr trainer phone booking yesterday.🏋️☎️Regarding the flat above , I noticed that it has been taken off of the market for now.I did hear the lady who viewed it mention the notes that I placed in the communal area. " no bikes /prams/ footballs in the communal area". Plus the " please don't throw mail on the floor " notice. I have just removed the bike notice , but left the other notice up.
I hope I don't get anymore telling off from the managing agents , as they are putting up signs in the near future apparently . I have made my point now, and am letting everything happen . The to let sign has only been erected a week ago.One other thing regarding the tenant that moved out . I let her in to collect her mail .
unsurprisingly, she left the redirection letter behind . I was getting too involved without realising , and now realise its best to keep myself to myself .Supposed to be seeing friend shortly, but a downpour looks likely.Enjoy the weekend 🌧🌨☔️3 -
I haven't missed your diary as I've been reading whilst away. Did you get the flat valued? I had my place done.
Great James is doing bits and pieces for you.
I hope you get good people moving in this time.

Hello again DIA 😸 Nice to hear from you again .I'm expecting James to be back around the middle of next month, hopefully sooner.
He too is in the middle of a potential move himself . Fingers crossed for him 🤞
He did the most urgent job for me last week , by sorting out the holes in the floorboards where the old central heatings was . He resealed the double glazing as well . When I moved in , there were a couple of trickle vents broken . He will get new ones and install.
He thinks the computer in the living room looks great . What I have decided to do, was to get him to order a few cupboards for both bedrooms and fit in both bedrooms . I'm awaiting the emails when he has a moment . Once those jobs are done , the flat will be valued . I also need a carpet shampooer , although he may be able to track one down to borrow. Nearly forgot to mention the new boiler . He is well impressed with it , and will box in the pipes also .
I've been in a more reflective mood of late . I think I've made my point to all and sundry that needed to be told ,and tbh I'd say the best thing to do is to wait and see who moves in and hope for the best . Obviously lockdown drains a lot of us , and in my case it was a combination of not knowing if the party people would actually take note of the complaints and stop, plus the large family moving out etc. I have to finally let go , and realise that there haven't been any more parties for approx 2 months . I don't think there will be another family moving in , as it looks like the owner of that flat has been moaning about the mess that was left.I have been feeling out of sorts in this humid weather, but felt better yesterday morning.
Then it got humid , just as I'm having a workout with mr trainer🥵🏋️. I never slept well last night but the humidity will be gone by the weekend , so they say .
My left knee seemed to go out of its socket on Monday ( I have tendonitis in it from my fitter days ) . I trained anyhow and hopefully the anti inflammatory mrs dovtor gave me will work .
I have another phone appointment with the work relations coach this morning . I will go over the courses he sent me from digital college this week . There isn't much more I can do regarding the universal credit system at present .When I'm ready to go back on buses, is probably when things are properly moving imho
i'll leave it there..
Enjoy the showers ☔️💦5 -

I feel very lucky. However he has given the odd excuse here and there , but I think he appreciated the fact that I didn't make a fuss at times when I had a feeling that he was doing other jobs etc at the same time . He also got jobs through my recommendations over the jobs he did in the bathroom and kitchen .Not being a miserable and demanding so and so , seems to have paid off 😸3 -
Strange day . Still not 100% .Yesterday , the work related coach didn't phone . He did today . Every month I have an action plan , but tbh with lockdown etc, I don't see the point . Okay, I need to pull my socks up with the digital college , but apart from that I can't see any need as there isn't anywhere to go imho until everyone is confident of going about the usual business , with a mask now of course.I had a couple of messages on my phone telling me I must sign in to my universal credit journal . Mostly the messages have been general messages for everyone ,and nothing to worry about . However, I had one from my job coach . He advised me that a lady will be teplacing him after the bank holiday , as he is going to another branch . I thanked him for his kind understanding with my issues etc and obviously acknowledged that Covid has been a testing time also . I received a nice reply back . Is this politeness from me over doing it ? 😼🙀 When dealing with universal credit , its not the behaviour expected on the telly 😹. Then again , I haven't been treated badly so far from the job coaches and I'm praying that continues . The appeal process is out of their hands and I guess if I'm complying like I have been I may be ok in the future .Regarding the upstairs empty flat, the letting sign has disappeared and there has been more work being done . Maybe the owner has decided to sell instead . I have to remain in my more relaxed state as I mentioned yesterday , and realise that whatever happens happens and if things go wrong again, then it's back to complaining . We'll see .
I'll leave it there ...3 -
I think a 'what will be will be' attitude to the upstairs flat is the best approach for now too.
Your last work coach sounded nice. You seem to have good luck with the UC people you have come into contact with. Hopefully the new person will be won over by you tooIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Odd few days . Glad we have the wind and rain 😸💦🌧. I'm probably the only one .
Having said that , I haven't been out of the flat for 10 days 🙀. Mr trainer told me off today about that . Tomorrow , I'll have to get back into daily walks etc .Yesterday , I went through the excel course again , and failed the test again 🙀😸
I actually do think though, that I will pass the next time later this week . What I have to do , is to make a couple of mock expense spreadsheets and toy around with division and subtraction . I was never good at maths in school as you can imagine . 😸I can do quick random thinking but sitting in a classroom was difficult . Bizarrely enough I was one of 4 people on the class that qualified for grammar school (11+) and was good at English . Then life was difficult . Anyway ,enough of that.
on the health side, things are still in the way ( speech slurry, tired left eye etc ) .
When I first got my condition , sitting at the computer was problematic . I had the same problem yesterday , where looking at the screen was like being on a boat . Plus getting off of my chair was like getting off of a horse .( muscular pain etc) . Walking to the kitchen like John Wayne isn't pleasant .Yesterday , I received 2 letters from bcp Council . One was the amended council tax bill.
The other was a remittance advice with a cheque for £89.15 . So, I owe no more council tax for this financial year . On my statement it says my account is in credit by £89.15
Happy bunny 🐰
Had a video workout with mr trainer 🏋️. Some was filmed . He is a happy bunny also .I'm more or less training every day now , which is a must to keep up stamina and I love the stretch workouts .The music efforts on soundcloud, seem to be getting positive reactions these days .
I now have " followers" . There is a lot to learn still , but when I'm in the right frame of mind I'll concentrate on how to get better results rather than uploading 2 min snippets here and there . I'm using the synthesiser these days at last, and pulling my fingers out 👇
The only thing though, is that the computer desk is on the small side for that Synthesizer .
It's more than adequate , and looks good imho but I never knew at the time I'd get something rather bulky . Anyway , there are worse things to worry abiut , so I'll leave it there . Enjoy the weather..🌪💨💦☔️3 -
