So, yesterday I did absolutely nothing for some reason , and felt no motivation.
However, I did manage to do a  gym session on my own again . 🏋️ Will do another later today .
I had a call from the work related job coach early , as he had a lot going on .
He seems happy enough with the way things are going from what I've been saying etc
If I fail in the test again, he says I can come in to the office and he'll help me.
Yesterday , a man in a checkered suit was hovering outside my building . It wasn't Rupert bear . It was an estate agent , who showed a young couple with a baby the flat upstairs.
Bizarrely enough, the flat is not listed on right move or anywhere to let or sell. Puzzling

This morning , something told me to have a browse and see if my dentist is open
My May appointment was cancelled , so I wanted to see what's going on .
I have an appointment tomorrow morning . I need to bring the implants with me , as they fell out a couple of months ago. Hopefully , that won't cost too much . I pay into a monthly plan . It's going to be slightly complicated , with temperature being taken etc. A bit cloak and dagger . However, on reflection I may cancel till next week as I'm not feeling the greatest .
And..I've cancelled until next weds !
Still not motivated , I may start messing around with my music gear and record something later.
    I'll leave it there.
    Enjoy the showers 💦🌨

Sometimes a day when you do absolutely nothing is essential.
Enjoy your music and have a good weekend.

Okay, the final bank holiday is over and the nights are drawing in . Seems to be getting darker around 8pm these days . Soon be Christmas 🎄 ( sorry 😼)
As a single person who doesn't travel much anymore , I don't like either bank holidays or the c word .
    Where was I ?
Friday , the ex tenant of the flat above me sent her son to check if there was any more mail for them . I let him in , despite trying to explain there is nothing . Still, that's not my problem any more . There is a hand written note from Wessex water who are trying to contact the owner or the ex tenants . Nothing doing regarding people moving in as yet .

Saw my friend on Saturday for a few coffees .  The humidity has now gone and I'm feeling a lot better in myself because of that . Tomorrow is the dentist 🦷. Not sure how much I will be paying , but there's no such thing as a cheap dentist . I am on a monthly plan , so every little helps . This is providing I get in , as I have to have my temperature taken before I proceed etc . Ironically , there is a vetinary surgery next door .🐶🐰

I spent approx 2 hrs trying to sort our apple home share on my devices again ..it doesn't work ! 2 Apple techs could not fix it . That's the thing . Buying an Apple product in the early days was a big deal . Now , since Steve jobs died so have their ideas. The kids they employ keep tampering with things that are not broken . I'll stop moaning .
I got a cheap tripod for iPhone for my sessions with mr trainer 🏋️. No video session today, but a detailed call on progress . I trained solo afterwards.
things to mention : the camera is not my friend . I have put on loads due to lockdown and bad habits .
However , I'm changing things around now and have to cut down / out ice cream and ice lollies .
I changed breakfast by experimenting with rolled oats/ honey/ organic chocolate spread . Need more seeds and nuts etc . I have to think bird 🐦 .
Still in pain at times , but am feeling more motivated .
Music recording was okay yesterday . I'm getting comments and likes etc .
    I'll leave it there ..
  • Well...bad news on the dental situation .😾🦷
I had my first 6 monthly appointment today , instead of May due to corona etc
Mrs dentist did my clean and polish . The mouthwash this time tasted of a combination of salt and bleach 🤮. Not like the oraldene or similar that they use .
After discussing the next paragraph , I asked her about my general hygiene , and she said it's not as good as she would like and pointed to the top corners of my mouth .
This is annoying , as I use an electric toothbrush and use dental floss sticks .
I have a feeling it's because of my myasthenia where it is tiring on the arm muscles to get into all areas . I may be overthinking ,and it may be my age and what I eat and drink .

So, we come to my implants that fell out . These are broken and snapped off completely and cannot be screwed back in . What does this mean ? A huge bill , and a choice of 2 options as to the best way to proceed . Mrs dentist explained everything in great detail but advised me not to make a decision until I thought everything through .
Cost is one thing , and the success rate of me having a successful outcome is not 100% guaranteed even after paying out what I cannit afford .
I won't go into too much detail of treatments as that is far too long . However in a nutshell , the options I have are : a) impressions fitted and partial acrylic denture fit over 4 appointments ..cost £1353.00 !!  b) root canal treatment / filling / post fit/ crown impressions / crowns fitted /   Cost ..£ 2215.00 !!

So , times are hard on universal credit . I will go onto the benefits board shortly to weigh up an option that I have . That is to possibly take money from my pension drawdown which I have allowed for a few more years . It may be that I have to wait until December to withdraw money from there , as I believe I am allowed under £6,000 to withdraw once a year . The first time I did this was in December last year . I expect I may have to wait until then to repeat the process . In the meantime I have to google around the best option to go for that would see that the option I go for is the right one ,and lasts longer than the 3 years that these broken implants lasted .
The only good news if ever there is such a thing regarding dental fees , is that today cost nothing and that if I wasn't on the dental plan ( £20 pm) I'd be paying 20% more , and that I would have had to pay for today's hygienist checkup.

Other news : the flat upstairs has been fnished abd relisted with sane lettings co.
There was a couple yesterday looking at it . There were 2 letting agents there , which seems unusual . So I will expect new neighbours anytime soon . 🤞they are ok

    I'll leave it there ...
  • After recovering from the initial shock, I have been looking at terms of payment .
Of course , I cannot go on interest free payment option .
If I pay all in one go, before beginning of treatment I would receive a 5% accounting reduction .
However, the silver lining here is that ..I can pay per appointment by credit/ debit card!
Now I can calm down .....😼
  • So after yesterday being slightly down in the mouth, I realised I didn't do any exercise .
This was put right today , and gave myself a tough session following the videos that mr trainer provided 🏋️.  I had to touch base with him regarding the website , as there was a problem logging in . Eventually , it is decided that safari browser is crap and that Firefox is now my main browser . Problem solved .
Great sleep last night..till 2.50 am . Fell back asleep around 4.30 but struggled to get out of bed around 7.30am . Forced myself to shower and I'm back among the living .
Spoke to one of my friends who had similar experience with a tooth Implant . Got good advice , but will look at some dental forums if I can . My friend said I should go to an nhs dentist , but tbh universal credit don't cover dentistry and the hassle of going to the unknown is not what I want . The dental practice I go to is very good, clean and friendly and I feel at ease always . Plus it is 7-8 mins up the road .

There were 2 more viewings in flat above me yestrerday . They didn't last long , so I'd assume that there was no interest yet . As I say 🤞I get good people above

Ouch to the dental bill!  There used to be a couple of dentists who posted on the health and beauty boards on here, they may be able to help answer any questions.

    Thanks jwil😼
I'm in an annoying situation , where even Mrs dentist couldn't properly advise on the best way to go . 🦷 . Hopefully , I'll get to the root of the problem and I can have a solution that lasts longer than the three years this last implant lasted .
I don't think I have much time to make my decision due to the possibility of another corona outbreak . We'll see..
  • Woke up early again . This time 4.40 am 🛏 Same pattern , and feeling lousy for a couple of hrs after getting up .
Today though, I felt edgy and forced myself to go for a walk . What I did though , was to see if my friend was around for a coffee☕️ . He was. Thing is, I had a walk before meeting him , and was 12 mins late as the walk was long but enjoyable . I also know the score regarding the barbers . They are open for business . My next mission , is to find a convenient random time one is free when walking and jump in . ✂️
One thing in my favour , is that I was not breathless as expected and stamina seems better than expected . I think I should carry on tomorrow etc hoping that the Pilates ball I swallowed starts deflating .

I think I'll contact Mrs dentist next week, and sort out my tooth issue . 🦷
It will be a series of appointments to go through with large amounts to be paid each time.
Hooefully the end result will be worth it , and last longer than the 3 years the broken ones have lasted . 😾

I do have impending jobs to do regarding decluttering , and if I'm in the right frame of mind
I may start tomorrow . Lots of things going on in my head regarding jobs for James ,storage and getting my flat valued .  I have a rough idea anyway , but having the boiler in one of the bedrooms and the alterations It would be nice to know for peace of mind .
Not sure if anybody has been upstairs to view that flat , or if anybody will view later .
Still, the main thing is to declutter and enjoy the flat for the moment and make it work for me , tidy it and keep tidy while I'm here . If the new tenants are ok , then I can relax .
    we'll see.
    I'll leave it there ..

  • Sorry about your tooth. It is expensive business but they are our teeth so what choice do we have?
The walk sounds like it was a good idea.
I think having a friend in the area you can have a coffee with is important. I won't have that when I move so I plan to volunteer at the arty cinema so I can make friends PDQ.
Hope you are having a good weekend.
