Thanks for stopping by again dreaming . So sorry about Alfie 😿
I too had a humour moment when I lost sweepy . I was bawling my eyes out, it was coming down in buckets of rain and I was starving . So, there's me walking with an empty cat carrier..towards the wimpy ! Been going there for years, so Iat least I had a nice take home wimpy and chips .
You may get another 😼or you may find one adopts you in the garden .
I just had a bizarre situation with richer sounds . I had to buy a new stereo amplifier .
The good ;I was recommended the cheaper amp out of the 2 that would suit my system
    £250 approx instead of £330.
    The bad:
I was going to pay by credit card . However , my card got declined 🙀 Shouldnt have happened . So I'm wondering why . So I tried my bank . That too was declined
so I was told as I'm a good customer and thankfully bought a pair of speakers at this address that the sales advisor would allow my second transaction . The reason I was told that I was declined was " the address doesn't match" . After tying my head in knots it turns out it is because my address has 2 first lines . I use both because if I didn't the delivery people would probably say they can't find it etc.
I'm a bit peeved , as I was going to contact my credit card co and nationwide . I don't have to because it was the sales assistant who told me he was being over cautious .
I am a big fan of richer sounds but don't know whether to mention it in trustpilot or just leave it . Your thoughts are appreciated . If I did leave feedback it wouldn't be condemning like I'd be with edf for example but I'd just say I had a minor heart murmur .

I wouldn't leave poor feedback for that, they've put the order through.  It sounds like it's a bit of a quirk in their systems from the way your address is set out rather than poor service.  I'd wait until you receive the amp though!

Must be something in the air as I'm also a bit meh. Bound to affect us all in the end.
Ignore your brother AC. Everyone here can see how much easier and better life is for you now you have moved. Even your health improvements suggest that the move was the right thing.
    Have a relaxing weekend.

    Thanks folks !
Not sure about relaxing weekend though. The druggies are having another party!
I made half of a mistake when I looked out of my door to see what was going on around 6.30 this evening . Thankfully , Jesus the drug supplier didn't see me through the glass front door . I should have stayed in . So, I'll wait until 12.15 and bang up again if it's going on . My brother did give me sound advice though . I'm going to minimalise any chance of contact with them . I will not be loaning my key to them like I have in the past. It's up to the landlords to get their own key for electric meters.  I will hardly acknowledge them . That way I can't be blamed for anything because they don't know me.
I will be the invisible man . Hopefully they won't get as bad as last time but they've made a start . I'll see what way it goes and if I need to log an official complaint .
    Wish me luck 😡🤬

Well everything was a bit odd.
I have a feeling that the other party boys disappeared before 11pm , as the noise was not consistent . There was the odd crash on my bedroom ceiling between 11.15 - 12.15 but I'd say that  was him either totally drunk and staggering or doing stuff with his other half .
I'm calmer this morning . Had a good nights sleep .
I noticed on both recent occasions the family next door have been away when party boys kicked off. I have a feeling that maybe he tipped them off and never let me know .
My final thought on the matter for now is that next weekend is bank holiday and that I should maybe ask the managing agents a letter to all leaseholders that parties are not allowed .
    Enjoy the sunshine 🌝

Sounds like a smart move to contact the landlord in advance of the BH.
Glad you had a good night's sleep. It makes all the difference.
Sunny here too, so that's nice :)

    Thanks DIA 😼
I could hear a few more heavier footsteps again this afternoon and evening ,so I've just sent an email to the managing agents . I went into great detail again ( minus the substances) , basically saying that I've had enough of the undesirables and that my kind nature has been taken for granted and that I don't want any involvement with any of them
I suggested that maybe we all get a letter telling us no parties or social gatherings .
I also told the managing agents that the landlords will have to pay for their own keys to the electricity meters just as I had to, as I want no involvement with any of them .
I hope that there are no more parties between now and when the managing agents deal with this . Not for the rest of this weekend anyway . I also mentioned that the family upstairs haven't been in their flat when these parties are taking place and that maybe they have been tipped off by the druggie when the parties will be going ahead .
    I'll leave it there
Lazy day otherwise ,but need to motivate myself tomorrow ..

What a pain that you are having to deal with inconsiderate neighbours AC. I'm not sure the managing agents can easily ban parties etc., even in these social distancing times.  I have a feeling that only the police have those powers, and to be honest I would call them and report the drug use as well as the get-together, but I understand you might be worried about being known as the informant.  The meter key is a different matter of course, and you have no obligation to lend yours to them.  If you don't like to just refuse face to face, you could always say that you have mislaid yours.

    Thanks dreaming 😼
You're correct of course . The good thing about this isolation is that I can just shout out that I have broken it . The landlords did get a notice about that a few weeks back so at least I'm underlining it now . I think the police is the last option . I didn't have to bang on the ceiling last night but if I have to do it in future then I may have to. If they've got any sense they'd avoid things going that far as I don't think they'd like the police to catch them with their stash etc.
The other neighbour ( woman with large baby) , asked me for loan of key about a week or so before lockdown . The fact that she stunk and was coughing was putting me off before this pandemic happened .🤮
Still, hopefully everything will die down over time ..

Well, I had a good nights sleep .
Did I feel motivated this morning ? Not at first. I did pick up ,and recorded a few bits on soundcloud and gained a few like and a couple of followers .
I had a bag of spuds delivered from the gvt last Monday and said to myself that I'm gonna learn how to make roast spuds in the air fryer. I did quite well . I'm due another delivery tomorrow so I can repeat the process over the next few days. It'll save me buying frozen chips . Plus I've stopped eating crisps for a few days .
Speaking of deliveries , I'm due to get new amp tomorrow from DPD .
I watched Some columbo today, but the amount of begging adverts on in between is putting me off .
I sorted out my medication for 22 days. I will have to reorder azathioprine sooner than the rest. I will look online over next couple of days and sort out getting home delivery.
I sent the managing agents a polite but very stern email regarding the undesireables upstairs. I basically told them that I'm no longer mr nice guy. I don't want anything to do with either of the flats above. The landlords will have to buy their own keys for the electric meters . I also suggested that maybe we should all get a letter advising us of noise and no parties . You get the picture. Undesireable neighbours are everywhere .
I'll probably get up at 5 or 6 am tomorrow to get rid of recycling .
    I'll leave it there ...
