It's the first of the month , and financial year ..
This means I have to think quickly about 2 bills in particular . The council tax , and the gd rent and service charges for the flat . I paid up to August for the council tax by phone .At just over £20 pm it gives me breathing space for a while . Up till August .As for the service charges , I sent an email asking if there is an extension period to pay as I don't drive and cannot get to the bank . They only take bank transfer. I have cash to put into my account but I don't want to get the bus to Poole to do so.
The other branch has the atm machine outside the branch and I don't fancy being accosted while trying to sort out the problem . I looked on my banks website and the advice is to avoid coming into the branches unless you really have to. There is no glass windows between the cashiers and customers in the Poole branch which I never really got my head around . Anyway, ,wish me luck
I checked my journal and notice that universal credit haven't given me a decision as to whether I get any help towards it or not . They may let me know when my payment is due which is the 4th of this month .I'm off the fixed period of my gas bill with edf. I'm on duel fuel tariff but for some reason the electric tariff finishes in July I think. I'll go to eon once I have freedom to do so without penalty .I ventured out around 8.20this morning to local Sainsbury's . I chose the right time . Managed to get eggs, toilet roll, tissues and things are manageable again for a while.
Another nice sunny day 🌝2 -

I heard back from managing agents , and they are ok with waiting . No late payment fees.
when they sent the last bill, it was later than expected so I had a feeling that they would be more understanding .I did my exercises , and feel better for it . It's supposed to be every 2 days and I'm keeping to that for now . It's almost mid day already . Time has flown quickly today so far 🕰🦅
last night , I recorded something rough on my Mac and uploaded it on to soundcloud , which is a free way to share my efforts and listen to others . I got a message from somebody telling me that they are adding it to their playlist and that lots of people who watch their page will see my efforts . Not sure if it's a scam or not . People get booted off that site a lot . One person liked it or was being sarcastic . Well, it was only a bass guitar and a drum machine and lasted about 2 mins . I need to get my finger out and learn how to do more with it and record more stuff that lasts longer and has more variety .,
Hope the day is well for you ..😼3 -
Awake at 1.30 am . Another strange dream .I just received an email from universal credit telling me that I have to provide fit note by 9th April . In my journal it said 12th April . I managed to get through to my surgery and my fit note will be posted . I then explained the situation in my journal , and said that I assumed the 12th is the deadline . However, I had to put another entry into the journal apologising as 12 th April is Easter Sunday. The job centre should get it on time once I post to them 🤞. I will obviously scan and copy first . If they don't receive it in time , then I am deemed fit for work . If surgery post today, then I should have hit by Monday . If not ...🥵
When I had my weekly call from work related group on Monday , I was told that there are vacancies in the job centre right now . It would be mad to contemplate doing that , as I'm not going on buses and am staying put as instructed. Not as sunny as yesterday . Have a good day anyway 😼4 -
Yesterday evening around 5.30 pm I saw a guy who sat on the wall drinking a bottle of Stella and smoking. Looked like jesus. Was he planing to rob my flat? Mmmm.. about 10 mins later, all was revealed . He was waiting for my neighbour upstairs. Not the ones with the children and baby. They have been fine for sometime .Around 9.00 I heard singing etc. There was a karaoke party upstairs. There was one last weds and on Christmas Eve . Fair enough about the other 2 as apart from that, they have been okay neighbours . So the party was in full swing, then it went quiet and resumed again. I noticed them going outside to have a smoke and a bottle of Stella , hugging each other , then going in and out at various times .
so it got to around midnight and by this time I looked outside and noticed about 4 of them outside snorting coke , one giving the other one small packets of hash or more marching powder. I decided to print a polite notice with the intention of leaving it on the stairs.
I then typed an email to the managing agents. It is saved as a draft for now .
I got the broomstick out and banged up on my bedroom and living room ceilings.
Having that marching powder up their nose obviously made them hyper. However 5 mins after banging on ceiling everything stopped. So I think the thing now is to do nothing .
I may get an apology . If so , I'll tell the guy to stand back when I open my door and politely say no more parties. As I say, they are normally ok. It's obvious that they are self entitled and have no sense over corona virus and are bored . I'm no prude etc but live and let live . It'll be interesting to get your take on things ...3 -
After lots of contemplation , I decided that it was best to send the managing agents an email. I didn't mention the drug taking etc. I asked them not to take action at this time and just to keep it on their records. I did say that if I do get a repeat , then I will be in contact again . Hopefully that is the end and things get back to normal .3

Your partying neighbours went too far I think. You took reasonable action by emailing the agents. I hope that resolves things for you. It must be lovely weather where you are. Is there a communal garden. I recall bushes outside your window? If there is maybe have a beer outside, it will lift the moodIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks DIA 😼
There is a communal garden , but I like my privacy and am weird like that at times, if that makes sense . Yes, loads of sunshine 🌝, but I decided to stay in and be a lazy slob while still being law abiding . The day seemed too long and miserable , but tomorrow should be better hopefully .Looking at my situation with the flat , I do think it was the the right thing to do at the time to buy it whether right or wrong . The state I was in , I just wanted a nice flat in a decent area . Plus it had to be a quickish route to London so Poole just seemed to fit .I have been the owner of this flat for 3 years and 4 days . When I was going back and forth to paint the flat ,it was always quiet . Everything seemed ok till last summer when the children and bawling baby were a pain at times . They have been better the last few months 🤞but with this corona virus who knows what to expect .
The other tenants have been fine apart from the 3 incidents . I half expected a confrontation after banging the ceiling , but thankfully nothing happened . 🤞nothing else happens and I can be calm again . The main reason I sent the managing agents the email was that if those tenants moved out, then the landlord won't put party loving people in there again .
Having said all of that , there are lots of people in far worse situations . Even people in houses fall out with neighbours ,so I'm hoping my problems disappear and remain minor in the scheme of things . Eventually I may move but at the moment the whole world stands still . Even people with money can't really spend it .I'll leave it there ...2 -
I think that the fact that your neighbours stopped being noisy when you banged is a positive sign. Yes they are being inconsiderate, but decent enough to stop when pulled up on it.
I totally get what you mean about the communal garden. Is there not a small part which is a little more private? Otherwise, maybe a little walk in the sunshine today would help make the day feel less long and boring."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4
