Your ventures out to get shopping are worse than mine. With any luck I can stay away from shops for the next week or so. You should be able to get online groceries if you are on 'the list'
    Have a good day.

I was just listening to the Offspring the other week.  It popped up in one of my Prime Music recommendations.  It took me back, I haven't listened to it for years!

Did you get a letter, or just a text? Because you should get a letter. I'm worried it may have been a scam text you got, might be an idea to check, as I haven't heard of them sending texts too.
  • Thanks folks !
I haven't received a letter so far @Gigervamp . In the text it did say I'd have to have my hospital number which I had to hand . I registered . I'm not sure what a scammer can get but the link seemed genuine . Speaking of all things medical , I'm due to receive my fit note by post . Well, I'll give the surgery a call tomorrow as I received an email which contained  a fit note .although has April 2020 on it , the dates are from my previous fit note . A pigs ear of a job .
There was no post yesterday for any of us , and am awaiting to see when the next post will be from the Royal Mail . They have been posting normally so far .
@jwil, I had another listen to that album . I do have the follow up cd Americana , but from what I remember, I wasn't too impressed and got bored of them rather quickly . I'll have another listen soonish .
Woke up at 12.30 am ! I think that being stuck in more is affecting my sleep pattern . I would imagine quite a few peoples sleep patterns will be affected for a while .
Having said all of that , I just did my exercises and don't feel as ropey as yesterday so far
Have a good day all .⛅️😼
  • Update : spoke to receptionist at surgery . The text is not a scam . I received an email from nhs telling me I'd have to go through the process all over again . I now find that Mrs doctor hasn't done it yet, but will do soon . Not too much of a problem as I don't have to take it to the job centre for some time . That's the trouble with universal credit . Sometimes things can make you a little jumpy , and you have to cover all corners consistently .
The postman has just been. As I was just going to my door , the woman ( who is related to party boy) was coming down the stairs . We both said hello ,and that was that .
You wouldn't think she was a druggie to look at her , and she seems fairly pleasant when I loan her the key to the electric meter cupboard .
I received an email from managing agents regarding my front door . I do have to have a closer fitted on to it at some stage . What is interesting though , is that the communal door has to have one fitted also . I requested one on 2 occasions , so it seems that I'm right ..

Glad to hear the text was legit.
  • okay . I've just received an unexpected envelope from HM Courts & Tribunals service
The tribunal has reached a provisional decision on my appeal . I know that as we go through life we understand legal jargon more due to house buying , pensions etc and we pick up things as we go along and the wording over various things we get through life is less daunting and more understandable .
Anyway, I'm trying to decipher what is written on this letter. I could be wrong but it looks at first glance that there is an offer which I have to accept or decline by 4th May .
now I'm still trying to get my head around it , but it looks like I have initially ( my word) been awarded Ltd Capability for Work due to a couple of points briefly mentioned. The DWP have to agree. However , it means that I would be reassessed 12 months from day of decision . I think that after all the hoops I've jumped through that this is too soon.
TBH , I don't feel anything about this letter. I would imagine that the great folk from citizens advice would advise . I would think that they have received this letter also .
I've had a nice morning so far going to the local Sainsbury's but just feel confused.
Anyway have a good day 🌝..
