AC if you like The Bridge etc., you may like Hinterland and also Hidden.  Hidden is on the iplayer at the moment, there is a series 1 and series 2 is currently showing.  They are Welsh productions.  Hinterland is amazing and is over 5 series, you would need to watch in order.

  • Mmm.. I'll consider that Mrs p 😼.
I just like the subtitles stuff ,and one of the reasons that is is that the actors are not over hyped at every opportunity like, in this country . Out of all of them for action , spiral is my favourite . For light hearted political stuff, borgen is fantastic . The bridge ran out of ideas and was about box ticking rather than producing the brilliant stuff of series 1&2
anyway , I'll leave that there for now

I woke up about 4.30 am..hot! I set the programme for the boiler to start too early it seems so I'll have to figure out the best times .
I started my exercise this morning . Mr trainer sent something videos over so at last I'm focused. In the middle of that, I had my weekly call from seetec pluss discussing my work related programme . The good thing was I picked up from where I eft off .
This morning , my stereo amp was barely working ( a bit like its owner I guess ). So I finally got round to taking everything out of it , removing the cover and spraying compressed air and switch cleaner onto it . I put everything back and success ! If it failed to work, then it would have cost £300 for a replacement 🙀. So this 20+ year amp is still going strong .
There is no Bluetooth , no remote control and no headphone socket , but the sound is fantastic . I have my tv plus all the usual stuff plugged into it and no need for soundbar .
    i won't tempt fate now..

I received a text from universal credit . I was wondering what for. It was " thank you for letting us know". That is for letting them know of my tribunal appointment being cancelled .

with regards to Whats App if it has been hacked, my thoughts are it’s probably safe to use now. Its like the safest time to fly is just after a plane crash 😄

My husband works in IT security, and his whole team are on WhatsApp. If it was unsafe, they wouldn't use it.

AC, I hope your day is going well.
I am looking for some advice please...
I'm not sure how the noise cancelling headphones work. They pick up bluetooth. Would a MacBook Air have that? I don't intend to use it with my phone as I don't have a smartphone. I imagined listening to music from my laptop wirelessly. Am I thinking along the right lines? Thank you :)

Hi DIA 😼I just looked up MacBook Air , via google and it does have Bluetooth . Look for the Bluetooth logo on top of your screen when you turn on to confirm before you purchase . When you get the headphones , you press a button on them , put them near the MacBook and "pair ' them
you will see a sign on your MacBook saying " discovered " when it is matched . ''Tis means that your headphones are ready to use . You'll have to charge the battery on your headphones before use .
Any more questions , give us a shout 🗣

  • great stuff DIA .😼
if you still intend to get those Bose ones that you mentioned, they are great . 😼
  • So what have I bern doing today ? ..
Well, the kitchen and bathroom had to be cleaned and tidied . The last time was 10 days ago 🙀. Used the dyson also . The place looks much tidier . Tomorrow ( or maybe later), I'll dust the window blinds . I may move a few things around in the gas room. When I got a lot of stuff from beales ( RIP ) , I got a computer desk . It's practical , with a glass top and has a large shelf underneath. It's black metal and wood ( pine?) . The sideboard is white gloss
For some bizarre reason, when I put everything back in last week I treat the sideboard as my computer desk as it looks better ,as its on the other side of the room from where it used to be . It doesn't stick out so much when I come into the room . Still, I've got plenty of time to finish off what I started .
I have started reading a coffee table sized book. Long way to go before I finish that .
I haven't ventured out since Saturday , but may go to local Sainsbury's tomorrow .
I've probably mentioned before that it's like when I first moved here when I was sick .🤮
maybe not that kind of sick 😸
