Thanks jwil😼
Yes, I'm in agreement about the neighbours stopping etc. Apart from that , they've been very good so I have to look at the positive . I could technically go for a walk, but I think it's too much of a risk and odd . It's a case of over thinking and being over cautious and the thought of 1 jogger/🏃♀️ dogwalker/🐕 Pram pusher could make all of the positive steps go out of the window .Having said that, I feel more positive and less gloomy today . I have been doing a few things already and plan to do more . The morning has been going quicker than expected
On the subject of 😷, I think my sister has got it . She got sent home from her zero hrs type contract from a big name store 9 days ago and told her not to come back until Monday week at the earliest . They do like her and respect her , so that's a good thing .She sounds in a bad way . We're all going to get some form of it , but are hoping it will be manageable imho . Still, the 🌝is shining so I'll leave it there ....4 -

I think the above quote is probably true but hopefully the later we get it the more the services will have their act together, more will be known, and longer term there may be a vaccine.
Wishing your sister well AC.

I have been in the house for two weeks, apart from the village shop (which I drove to) and the supermarket (again which I drove to). I made a conscious effort yesterday and went for a walk. It was great and I felt much better for it - I also had a few conversations with people standing well apart. Today I went for a cycle ride, and only met a couple walking a dog. I feel so much better for going outside. Admittedly its easier for me as I am in a very small village and isolated part of the country. It is weird though because normally there would be thousands of visitors around - I cycled 5 mins to a well known beauty spot and it was deserted with signs up saying the car park was closed and bollards across it.Debt free and Keeping on Track3

I agree with the others AC - a quick walk could help lift your mood. You need to get the risks into perspective - a jogger, dog walker or prampusher can all be manoeuvered round at the advised 2-metre-distance while still exchanging a pleasant smile and greeting with very little risk to either of you. I'm saying this as someone who has only been out twice in the last 3 weeks for shopping but I have a garden so can busy myself out there weeding, or just sitting with a cuppa. Also, as a self-confessed introvert I am used to self-isolating and often spend days on end alone through choice. I also have a good storecupboard of food, plenty of craft supplies, and a whole mountain of books to read plus, of course, Alfie cat to keep entertained.3

I hope your sister has a swift recovery.
Glad you had a more positive day. As most people are following the rules, it is easy enough to keep apart from other people. Why not give it a try? If you feel it's too risky and there's too many people about, you can turn around and come back home. I've been going out at 6am (I'm an early bird anyway) and there's no one around but the birds and the sunrise. Evenings seem to be a bit quieter as well."If you can dream it, you can do it". Thanks everyone. 😼I've taken all you said on board , and we'll see what gives .It's funny really in my situation , I still have lots to do . You'd think that with most of my time I'd have everything done . Despite all the events over the last couple of weeks , I can't believe that it's been 2 weeks today that I had the boiler issue finally sorted . This was more positive for me as the room I have since the other monstrosity got moved has made me more productive . Last week I moved things around and got more productive on the music side of things . Yesterday , I spent a couple of hours moving things around again to make everything just so . I'll finish it off today . I had to block temporarily some holes left from the boiler installation hoping that I don't get mice coming in for a party . Bad enough with the rats upstairs 🐭. Speaking of which, I saw a few cigarette buts on the floor outside my door when I was leaving the flat this morning .I woke up at 2 am . Had berocca and a couple of club biscuits at about 4.30
not feeling great , but I made it to Sainsbury's local at 8am. Hardly anyone around and I got most of what I want . The only things I can't seem to get are moisturiser and shaving cream . I use electric , but shaving cream feels smoother .
I'm due to receive a phone call from the work related person today. He did send me an email regarding courses I could do online . For the first time , I'm gonna have to say that I haven't had time , but will do this week .Rambling too much . Have a nice day 🌝😼..4 -
AC - totally understand about having lots of time on your hands but not getting on with things - I do it all the time and it's called Parkinson's Law - "work expands to fill the time available for its completetion". That's why people often say that if you want something done, ask a busy person. I know when I worked and had deadlines I was so much more productive on all fronts. Being retired I have procrastination down to a fine art, and especially in the current crisis, when there is no chance of an unexpected visitor, I have even less incentive to do any more than the bare minimum of housework. I probably do need to push the vacuum cleaner round though as the dust bunnies are getting a bit out of hand and setting of my allergies.4

Very interesting dreaming 😼
I'm glad but surprised that there's a name for it . We're very similar , in terms of work. In all of my jobs I had to have the busy mindset so that I could handle the routine and the random stuff that came my way . Procrastinating was major with me. Still there , but a lot less.I expected a call from the work related group. It meant I had to hold back on doing things.
He never phoned . I hate that . I got an email which I cannot reply to which is just tips to stay safe etc. I'll do those jobs tomorrow . I had a random thought about an album that I wanted to listen to that I haven't played for years...offspring smash! Very pop punk and a massive album in the '90s. I think the vinyl got lost in the move, but I found the cd.I still love it . Will have to upload that with the many other CDs I have to my Mac .
Another job I started...3 -
I went to the local Sainsbury's a short while ago . A couple of inconsiderate tw@s peed me off 🤬
when queuing up in line to pay for my groceries , some idiot walked to the front but when he saw me moved back . I could feel his impatience and arrogance behind me but insisted by looking over my shoulder that he will not get too close and have to wait .When leaving the shop, there was a man with a baby in a pram talking to a builder while blocking the pavement . So I walked on the road . Then when coming at the top of my road, a car pulled up a few yards in front of me . The people there have 2 or more cars.I see him talking to his other half not taking a blind bit of notice of me due to his ignorance and arrogance . As I was approaching I started to walk on the road ( common sense)
so he is standing on the same side . I was just going on the pavement . Because my wide frame confused him , he asked what way am I going . I just said " straight through!" No smile on my face , but I did mutter thanks . So if any of these annoying individuals catch anything , then it's their own fault and good . There are always cars parked on that road that take up half of the pavement as well. I detest those selfish so an sos. 😾Apart from that , another case of waking up too early . 2am . I did my exercises yesterday and my hip is a little stiff. That'll go . It's part of my myasthenia problem of doing things out of the comfort zone. Probably the wrong term to use , but my body feels more in tune later in the morning .I received email from managing agents about the party boy upstairs. They are doing as I asked .Another sunny day . Enjoy ...🌝4 -
Just received a text from nhs coronavirus service informing me that I am at high risk and to stay in for 12 weeks etc . I filled the form in and then updated my universal credit journal .2
