Hello hope you are all staying safe and well.
Im ok apart from having 4 grown men at home - DH i can cope with but others my patience is being tested as is my worry button. My DD is working so hard in food retail that im worried about her she has no protective items and has to deep clean the boxes when they come in from self isolation. Wish her luck that she doesn't catch the virus but I fear its inevitable and she is so far away.
Anyway I WI and can report a loss of 1.5lbs so I made my second challenge - Hooray x Good luck those WI and well done to those who have lost or STS and keep positive Also stay safe virtual hugs xxxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.

Brambling I hope you're okay after your very late finish and please don't feel that you can't grumble about work. You can be grateful for having a job that can be done from home at the same time as being driven to distraction by that job so feel free to vent whenever needed. And yes, IzHe's properly better now, thank you.

If yesterday's food's anything to go by I really need to start thinking about the next challenge or it's going to be a write off before it's started. On the positive side, IzHe went to the local butcher and we now have loads of eggs and managed to get some for my parents as well.

I've weighted in a day early to finish the quarter with a STS, but will go back to Wednesday next week. Working from home is fatal as too many things to eat, so I'm currently sitting waiting to start testing with a large bowl of chopped fruit and the last of the grapes so I'm hoping that will detract me from the cupboard under the stairsI've already threatened this morning to hit the gin as I don't have to drive home anymore

Final note - i realised that i was having a bad day at work when i finished the pack of jaffa cakes during the afternoonat least the naughties are decreasing and i not going to go queue for biscuits or sweets

Thank you Brambling for all your work on the thread, sorry work has been so rough, although it's nice to have a job you can work form home, you can't escape it, sometimes you need to be able to leave it at the door when you're done, which is a hard to do in your own home xx

Izadora I’m glad Izhe has recovered and was able to do some successful foraging.
Thank you all for your good wishes. Sadly my eye appointment didn’t happen. I phoned again to check, the recorded message said to come to all appointments unless otherwise advised, but when I got to the hospital and found the right place, I wasn’t on their list. They were very sorry, but they’ll reschedule for eight weeks’ time (the appointment was originally requested at the end of October
). Also the opticians rang to say that there’s no way I can get my new glasses until this pesky lockdown ends. I had to console myself with a pack of chocolate brownies (nice but not good). Still, it was nice to be able to get out for a bit.
So, my Tuesday-munch was
B : porridge
L : ham salad (red chicory and rocket); apple
D : salmon with fennel, parsnip and spring greens; yogurt with blueberriesS : 5 chocolate brownies (is it true they’re better for the eyes than carrots?); 2 squares 85% chocolate

Just checking in to say weighed myself today and I have gained one and half pounds so overall on the 3 month challenge I have lost just one pound. Really fed up and not sure what to do. I stopped regularly posting a while back as I was getting no results. This has been the sorry state of my weight loss for over a year now. I gain/lose the same couple of pounds with weeks of no change. I eat low carb veggie but maybe need to change. thinking of going low fat vegan. Feeling no point in planning until the virus situation has improved.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
