roundtuit said:So WI No 4 and I can report - 2lbsย
I'm new to you - do I set a new target on 1st April for the next quarter?ย
I thought about washing the inside of my windows today but it got no further than just a thought ๐ I combined my daily exercise walk with picking up a few bits and walked into town and back today as they were still going to have a few food stores at the farmers market on condition that the stalls offered contactless card payment and were all well spaced out and had 2 metre boundaries around them. ย I did look at the queue to get into M&S and decided I wasn'tย queuing just for milk and didn't need anything else, I'll queue at Tesco exp tomorrow. ย
Being a kind sister i did pick up some mince and 'posh' sausages for my sister and nephew and left in her porch as her house is between mine and town, I rang the doorbell and stepped back about three meters and we had a quick catch up on family gossip as well ๐ ย it about a four mile round trip so I got in some exerciseย

Morning xx
The Lemsip and paracetamol diet being no longer needed, touch wood, I will now be on the hotch potch diet until further noticeยI've told DS that we need smaller portions as we are doing less - I didn't call it rationingย
ย We are not short of food but as it's hit and miss what you can and cannot buy we will be trying new food combinations. As I said earlier we have very little sweet stuff in the house - a frozen apple pie and two chocolate wafers being the sum total of goodies. But we do have apples and bananas in the fruit bowl.ย
I'm so happy to be ending the month 11 lbs lighter than I started it - and ready to carry on losing, whilst getting to know you all better as the months go by.ย
Stay safe

ETA: what is / are PSB and BSD please? I worked out STS but those two have me stumped.

Well done Roundtuit xx I thought you would do well on this thread as its very supportive and kind xx
Brambling will you update the totals on the last day of the challenge as I would like to make my target ย - many thanks for keeping us on track and administering the thread xxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.7 -
Molly I'll check this thread for a few days after the 1st April and will make any updates accordingly
Roundtuit - i think BSD is Blood Sugar Diet? not sure PSD

Weighing in :ย a well-deservedย STSย (after all the cake and chocolate I think Iโve got off lightly - er, see what I did thereย).
ยBramblingย well done on tucking the sweet and tempting goodies safely into the freezer ๐
Frith a nice piece of sponge cake gets us all in the endย
ย

Morning All,
Brambling Thank you so much for all you've done with keeping track of us. I may not have hit my target this time but I've done a lot better than I would've done without this thread. Your farmer's market sounds lovely and so much better than queuing in a busy supermarket to stare at empty shelves.
Frith Home-cooked cake, especially when made by your offspring, is worth not being BSD
roundtuit Very well done on your loss, that's amazing in a month
Blue Doggy Well done for your STS and your successful, if somewhat longer than intended, shopping trip
Even though I haven't managed to reach my target I can report aย -2lbย loss for the last week of this challenge. Even though I have eaten quite a bit of rubbish this week I think I was saved by not really eating for a couple of days when IzHe was ill and then spending most of the weekend cleaning the kitchen. I ache from head to toe but, other than the wallpaper, I don't think there's a single cm that hasn't been scrubbed and that makes me very happy
Best of luck everyone. Stay safe and see you for the next challenge xx8 -
You still lost over a stone Izadora ๐๐. So well done you ๐. I hope IzHe is fully recovered now
I'll create the new quarter thread tomorrow, I've been really busy work wise so will fit it in using the work laptop which is easier than my tablet. ย Yesterday we worked 1 - 11pm they lied when they said it would be 2 or 3 hours work, unfortunately I couldn't stop and switch off enough to go straight to bed and ended up still awake at 2am and we were back at work by 8.30am. ย I may swing for the next person who asks me what I'm doing with all my lockdown time ๐ I'm not grumbling about working as I realise how lucky I am to have a job I can do from home but ...ย
food wise was a bit grab when I had a minute and involving too many sweets
B - cooked apple and strawberriesย
L - walnut and raisin bread toasted with marmaladeย
D - LO stir pork with noodles
S - sweets, pack of crisps, fibre one bars d I forget what else ๐ฃ

Bramblingย I can only echo Mollyโs and Izadoraโs thanks. Youโre busy working from home, repelling invading kittens ๐ and preventing cat wars ๐บ and you still manage to keep us updated. Well done and thank you ๐
ยIzadoraย congratulations on your loss, very well done ๐๐ Enjoy your sparkly clean kitchen, that was a good job done. ๐
ย
Yesterday I drew up a daily plan to try to spread the daily tasks out (the latest of many attempts to organise myselfย) and I actually managed to more or less stick to it ย today
Tomorrow I have an eye appointment at the hospital, I rang them today and it seems itโs still on.
ยTodayโs food:
B : bacon & eggs ย
L : jacket potato with fat-free cottage cheese and cress; apple
D : cauliflower bolognaise; yogurt with blueberriesย
S : 2 squares of chocolateยโTomorrow is another day for decluttering.โDecluttering 2023 ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ โญ๏ธโญ๏ธ
