Molly Best of luck with getting your target on Tuesday. Am I getting confused or this is actually your second target, as you'd hit your first one so quickly?
Hugs to you all xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.8 -

Well done on your target Cranky
The joys of skype Izadora means we can spent hours in meetingsafter nearly two years we are finally hopefully going live with a major system update, we're only about 6 or 7 months behind
so we are manically trying to finish testing and ironing out bugs
I got a scare today, I was working in the dining room which is at the back of the house and I realised there was a man at the window, it was just the window cleaner who usually lets himself in the back gate. We waved through the glass and I'll paid him electronically as usual so no need to get any closer but made me jump
Food wise today I ate my lunch for breakfast and breakfast for lunch
B- 2 mini crustless quiches with cherry tomatoes and cucumber
L- FF greek yoghurt with cooked apple and strawberries (from the freezer)
D - I found a small piece of steak in the freezer (only frying steak I think) so will have that with either airfried chips or a jacket potato and veg of some kind
S - packet of pom bears and a fibre one barLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -
Another 0.5 gone here... mainly due to stress and chaos TBH.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
"It’s a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way.” David Lynch.7 -
B - yoghurt and berries
L - avocado and sardine
T - a break from the BSD as we had a campfire on the allotment. A sausage sandwich.6 -
Well done short_bird 👏. It's difficult to lose anything when things are toughLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7

Good evening everyone
Cranky and short_bird congratulations on your losses 👏👏
Frith your retired old ladies are looking very good
Izadora and silly_vixen it’s difficult to put structure into your day when the set-up you’re used to has radically changed. Hopefully you’ll work it out and everything will fall into place for you soon
It wasn’t so cold in the garden today so I got quite a bit done. Junior Doggy had to stay indoors because I had my cordless saw in action, and other sharp tools. When he was eventually let out, he had a good look all round the garden to see what I’d been doing.
Today’s food:
B : porridge - (sadly I’d eaten two thirds of it before I noticed little black flecks of unknown identity in it. It rather put me off 🤢 and I threw it away) and ate 4 choc covered shortbreads to make up
L : cottage cheese with rocket and celery; apple
D : smoked haddock poached in milk, fennel, carrots and broccoli; cinnamon yogurt
S : 2 squares of chocolate“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning xx
Sorry that I'm not joining in much - but I am still here and still cheering you all on. I now have serious chicken envy Frith
This week has been a continuation of the Lemsip diet closely followed by a what's-in-the-freezer hotch potch of meals. I guess it helps that we don't have a stash of chocolate / cake / goodies in the house. Blue_Doggy - I am in awe that you can eat two squares of chocolate and put the bar down. Respect!
So WI No 4 and I can report - 2lbs
I'm new to you - do I set a new target on 1st April for the next quarter?
Stay safe and take care

Morning All,
Molly Best of luck for hitting your second target. I'm sure you will but you've done brilliantly even if you don't
Brambling It sounds like work's definitely keeping you busy!! I think the window cleaner would've given me quite a fright too
Short bird Well done on the loss. It's never easy but it seems to be particularly difficult at the moment
Frith An allotment camp fire sounds lovely
Blue Doggy Well done on getting the gardening done, I hope junior doggy approved of your efforts. And I think that shortbread is a very sensible option to make up for icky porridge
roundtuit Well done for the loss. I hope you're feeling better soon and can move on from the lemsip diet
Not much to report here. I did a little bit of work this morning and am now going to scrub the kitchen from top to bottom. Oh, the excitement of my life
Stay safe everyone and best of luck xx7 -
Good evening everyone
I just typed a long post and it got lost
roundtuit congratulations on your loss 👏👏 the Lemsip and hotch-potch diet definitely seems the way to goThank you for your kind words about my chocolate restraint - what I eat in squares is 85% cocoa dark choc, one per mug of black coffee. It’s sweet enough to go well with the bitter coffee, but too bitter to binge on. On the other hand, given a bogof of Pppenguins I show no such restraint, they vanish very quickly - three are never enough
IzadoraI could get used to breakfasting on choc covered shortbread, luckily there’s none left
I hope the sun will shine in on your spring cleaned kitchen
I went on my supplies finding outing this morning: at 10.15 the local supermarket had no eggs, milk, fruit or veg (except spuds) and big stretches of empty shelves. I had to go to Sainsbury’s in the next town, where everyone was being very good (under the eyes of security guards), to get what I needed. It was too windy and cold to be outside for long so no gardening done.
Eaten today:
B : porridge (without additions!)
L : sardines with red chicory and rocket; apple
D : sausages with peas & parsnip; yogurt with blueberries
S : 2 squares of chocolate, and - er - three fingers of the coffee and walnut cake I’d bought for a Sunday treat.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️
