Welcome Roundtuit glad you have joined us x
Blue_Doggy I generally eat beans with other carbs bit personally I don think it the salt content yet I have to eat salty foods as I have a very low (dangerously at times) blood pressure and they don't have the same effect. Like you who knows? it could be the combination of sugar and salt.
Having another day hugging hottie as in pain so not much activity oh well x
Have a good day and keep positive xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.6 -
Good morning all,
I've managed to lose the pound that I put on last week so 1 lb down. If it was a school report it would say "could try harder".
Take care all of you5 -
Good evening everyone
Roblou best wishes for getting back to your yoga, movement and flexibility and feeling good - what’s not to like
roundtuit hi and welcome
Brambling I hope you new hair-do survived the weather
molly I hope you feel much better after a rest day.I’d be sceptical about salt myself (apart from causing water retention), and more inclined to blame the sugar in the beans. FWIW
CRANKY well done on losing last week’s pound 👏, you made sure it didn’t hang about
I did more faffing about in the kitchen, re-arrangement is a cascading process (not quite Tetris, but nearly). Tired out and aching all over now.
In among all the faffing, I ate:
B : bacon, eggs, and an end piece of aubergine which was lurking in the fridge
L : sardines with salad of fennel (another lurker!), lambs lettuce and cress; yogurt with blueberries
D : sausages with onions, green beans and tomatoes; cinnamon yogurt.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Well done Cranky 👏
Blue Doggy the worst of the storm missed us, there was a hail storm when I was in the hairdressers but although a little breezy it had stopped raining when I got out. I'm trying to grow my hair to cut it (it was short) and it has reached the annoying stage, it grows outwards and not down but finally my layers are almost grown out 🙂.
Other than my my haircut I pop to the local farm shop with my sister, the farmers market had been closed today. It's 7 miles away and not on my usual routes but worth a visit, my sister tends to pass it every Thursday so usually goes then.
L - smoked salmon and egg sandwich with watercress

Thank you for the welcome
I've had a read-a-book day - it happens sometimes, (and while I'm reading I don't snack like I do when I'm watching tv so Day 1 has gone well):
B- porridge
L- pasta & sauce
D- jacket potato & beans
S- banana

Didn't post last week but catching up now, both STS. sigh.

Morning everyone, a quick pop in today, hope everyone has had a good weekend so far.
B- oaty pancakes, these are made with 40g porridge oats, 2 eggs, 2 good dollops of 0% fat Greek yoghurt, sweetener, lemon extract and a 1/4 of a teaspoon of baking powder. Mix up really well and fry (spray) it makes 9ish small pancakes. I then have with yoghurt, blueberries and cinnamon honey.

Now what are we doing on page 2!
Quite an active type of day slept badly so got up early and got on with some jobs.
Hope you all had a good day x
Good luck with the weight loss this week and WI s xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Not sure what I hit mid type but I ended up going to another page and losing my post 🙄. Picnic error (problem in chair not in computer 😉)
Procrastinator it's hard to diet and socialise but sometimes we have to deal with our MH over our physical and that may mean going out rather than being at home alone. Don't kick yourself you're maintaining which is good 🙂
Roblou thanks for the pancake recipe one to try next weekend I think 🙂
Hope you're feeling better now Molly and are recovered from your scan 🙂
I spent today at home most of it in the kitchen, sorting cupboards / freezer and cooking for the next few days plus some HM ready meals for the freezer as I had used up all of my stock. Unfortunately it has meant I have also picked what I should have been tidying 😕
L - toast and marmalade - using the last of the bread and marmalade
D - Barnsley lamb chop and lots of veg
s - lots of things I shouldn't have 🤫

Weighing in
Good evening everyone
Glad you missed the hailstorm, Brambling. Well done on your busy cooking day. I’m sure most chefs say that tasting what you’re making is essential in preparing a great dish
procrastinator well done on STS even though socialising.
I’ve lost another 1 lb so quite pleased, steady as she goes (may go pear-shaped this week though.) Out to lunch today with a friend, the start of another social week
B : porridge
D : whitebait with tartare sauce; roast beef, roast potatoes, assorted fresh veg; my friend and I shared a dessert of two chocolate brownies and cream with our coffee.
T : skyr with blueberries, apple, bread roll with Marmite.
S : 4 squares of 85% chocolate; 2 small ginger biscuits (with aspirin for aching back)
Wishing everyone a good week!“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️
