Old Style Weight Loss 2020 - Part 1
Comments
-
After a week of being extra careful, and having more lettuce and less ice cream, and going for the healthy choice every time, I wish I hadnt bothered, because after all that I have only lost HALF A POUND!!!
I think for ,me its the exercise that makes the difference, and after overdoing it I have spent most of the week in bed . (its a back thing) . I am walking again now though, so hoping to make up for it next week.
Dumpling, thinking of you, and hoping all is well.8 -
Awww, you are all so lovely. I am waiting to hear about some troubling test results which look as though I have some sort of kidney failure. I am very sad about it as I have only recently been diagnosed with heart failure along with an inability to walk more than a few steps I am about ready for the knackers yard. Really if I can offer some advice it will be to carry on with your weight loss, you are doing the very best thing to get healthy. I ignored all the warning signs and nearly died and now I have all the problems expected from being so overweight. I am still chugging along though although today I ate snacks with my grandson while we watched detective Pikachu (dreadful film
if like me you know nothing about pokemon). Tomorrow is another day and there will be salad!

Evening everyone, just did a long post and lost it all, boo sucks!!
Memory is rubbish, so trying to refer back to other posts but can't leave the last page without loosing my post. Hmmm....I'm doing this on my Kindley Firey thing so not sure if there is a knack to it!! Any hoo, sorry if I don't comment, think next time I'll write down what I need to comment on.
So sorry DUMPLING to hear of your health problems, keep on chugging on. Bless you.
Amazingly, I stuck to the plan, shopping, menu and all. Phew.
Hope you all had a good day overall.

Thanks for the tip Blue Doggy it should stop me shocking the cat with my bad language 🙀 why didn't I think of it?
Honey I know it's frustrating when you've worked hard but it's a loss and maybe it will show next week 👏. Take it easy with your back 🙂
I saw a NT Live screening of Cyrano de Bergerac tonight with James McAvoy he was very good, it did take me about 15 minutes to get into it, very modern I think it was the rapping which threw me 😳 and not for anyone who objected to bad language 🙉 but it was good once you got into the rhythm of the poetry they were speaking
B - porridge and fruit
L - chicken soup
D - breaded cod fillet and vegetables
S - nectarine, plum, slice of toast and marmalade when I got home tonight

I am sorry to hear that, Dumpling. I hope you get the best possible advice and care.
I will join you all soon. My life is a weird mix of things that don't ordinarily go well (or, in the case of my career, exist!) going surprisingly smoothly and things I have got running nicely going entirely to pieces. My older son has just moved to France for a year (was to go in January but has been training in Wales and England for a bit). Anyway, I have been eating a ridiculous amount. Half the time I don't even enjoy it any more.

Evening all
just to let you know my landline has died and BT advise probably end of day on 26th before fixedcurrently using my phone which doesn’t work well with fat thumbs. I’ll try to link up tablet to phone to update if not the table will have to wait until I’m at work Monday. Oh well worst things could happen, just really annoying as second time in a year and last time took over a week to resolve.
Well done on the STSs and have a good weekend allLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7
