DH sold another 3 items yesterday. That's a bit more gone!
Little miss has been learning about Remembrance Day at school. She was in floods of tears yesterday, as she 'couldn't stop thinking about the soldiers' ❤ We had a long chat about it and she wants to go to the fields where it happened to remember them. I can't do that now obviously, but we can go and visit the war memorial in town. They've both done lots of colouring of poppies which I've put up and both wanted to wear them to school today as well.
Work is very busy again, but I've finally made some progress on some of my projects. I've been listening to some very interesting webinars and online conferences as well. Lots going on.
Not much happening at home. DH is carrying on with stuff. We are watching Cold Feet at the moment. We had the box set on DVD, so I've decided we can watch it and then it can go. I'm quite enjoying it, it's very dated though. I didn't watch it when it was on TV, we've picked it up at a car boot sale somewhere. I've also started rewatching Friends. I've seen it a million times, but it's comfort blanket TV for me. I've started reading Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone series too. I've read the odd one before and enjoyed it, now I'm working my way through the series."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Morning everyone. Hope everyone is well.
I'm on a bit of a mission to clean and tidy today. It's little miss's birthday in a couple of weeks, and then it will be time to put up the Christmas decs! So I want to start tidying and give the house a big clean first. It feels grubby to me.
Today I have stripped all the beds, doing all the towels, and have washed the shower curtain in bleach so I can deep clean the bathroom. We replaced the toilet seat a while back, and already the new one has split - the laminate is all cracked, bloody rubbish! So I might look around for a new one again.
I've had a good catch up on surveys today and have cashed out on PA and getting close to cash out on a couple of other sites too. I'll try and keep on top of it to get some extra cash for Christmas. I've got a lot, but still a few things to get. I've just done a £6 survey on PA too, so that will be nice when it arrives.
Some of the stuff I listed last weekend is selling, and a lot more has watchers, so hoping we'll get rid of a lot.
I've just been invited back onto the RM survey. I wasn't sure if I want to, but have accepted again. I might make this one my last time, will see how it goes. I have a nice stash of stamps built up. I'm on the unaddressed mail again for the next two weeks so that's an easy bit extra.
Have a good weekend everyone. It's wet and windy here."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
I am always in two minds about the RM survey

That's very sweet of DD to care so much about the fallen soldiers, it shows she has a kind heart ❤.
Well done on all your cleaning today. We used to buy wooden style toilet seats but they regularly fell apart due to the men of the house having poor aim and it got expensive. Eventually we bought a white plastic seat and it's lasted for years.

We used to have a plastic one but it was very flimsy. We bought this one which I think is a laminated wood, and it has been much better, but the laminate has all cracked, and it looks awful. I'm not sure what to get now, just a more sturdy plastic one I suppose. I'll probably have to suck it up and spend a bit more"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
