It's good that furlough payments have been extended tho it's a lifeline to many. My son has only been back at work the last two weeks and hoping he's not furloughed again. Such worrying times.
I've a fair amount of decluttering to do, not my stuff but what was Mr Retiree's. It's trying to work out the best way to get rid of DVDs, CD and vinyl records dating back to the 60s. The boys have taken what they want and I'll probably split the money between them.
I've now had my fourth cycle of chemo only two more to go. CT scan due on 21st Nov. Fingers crossed that the cancer is on the retreat.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend x
It's hard getting rid of stuff isn't it. Have you got a dealer locally that might look through the vinyl? CDs and DVDs are generally pretty worthless now unless there is something rare in there or some box sets. Have you looked at ziffit, music magpie etc? When I did it, I had a window on the laptop open for each and put it to the one that was offering the most. The ones they wouldn't take I just gave to charity. There was no interest even when they were out for 20p at a car boot sale.

The kids yesterday decided to get rid of some of their toys. I think they are trying to make space for Xmas 😆 The ones they are getting rid of are bulky playsets so I'm very happy about that, and currently listing them on ebay before they change their minds. They will get the money from them anyway.
DH and I are barely speaking which is not unusual when it comes to conversations about the 'stuff'.
I've made a start on my Christmas shopping so lots due to be delivered over the next few days hopefully. It's nice to be organised!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
