I've had mine but surgery couldn't decide if I could have a home visit as I would be at my highest risk of infection or surgery or stay in the car. In the end I got a home visit. Just as well I haven't driven the car since August and it has a flat battery.
Would you believe I'm half way through my chemo."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -

retiredandskint said:It seems to take longer to get over each cycle of chemo but I'm getting there. I have to inject myself for five days every three weeks and had to give myself a good talking to 😂😂. The worst bit is the isolation friends, although do shopping etc are afraid that they might give me the lurgies. The highlight of my week is going to hospital for blood tests. I'm so grateful for all the blood donors out there. Other than a few grumbles I'm doing ok and there are people worse of than me xx
Feel free to message me any time or vent on here. There's always people worse off, but it doesn't mean you can't feel pretty rubbish sometimes. If I can help at all, let me know."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
I've just had virtual parents evening for the kids. It worked well and both have done really well considering the last few months. So I'm very proud of them. A few things to work on but nothing I was surprised about.
One more day and it's half term. I'm working Friday but then off next week, hurrah! No real plans, but we'll probably try and go out a bit for walks and stuff while we still can! DH is off next week as well. This is booked holiday, but his work are talking about asking people to take leave as it's quiet at the moment due to all the restrictions.
I'm also hoping to get on with the decluttering! This month has been pretty poor for getting rid of stuff, DH hasn't listed anything new on ebay for a few weeks, so must get him going again otherwise the decluttering will stall."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It's the start of our week off, hurrah!
I'm hoping to get some tidying done. I'm starting today by deleting emails from two email accounts - the emails get diverted to my main account, but still exist in the original accounts. As each email has a small carbon impact due to storing it, I should definitely get rid of all unnecessary ones! It's 7000 emails in just one of the accounts!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". DH had a nice flurry of sales last night, I'm assuming it's due to either half the country being on restrictions, or people getting ready for Christmas. There's some stuff gone that's been on a while
Hopefully it will encourage him to prep some more this week, as he hasn't done anything new for a few weeks, so the decluttering at home seems to have stalled.
