Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your support
Today has been a better day. I was strict about doing fewer hours and I spent some time with little jwil to do some maths work with him. I did some of my own work (it worries me when it's building up) and just had a more relaxed day. I've booked a couple of days flexi for next week, and DH is off too, so little jwil will have some company and will be able to get out and about a bit.
I went for a short walk and I had a salad for lunch. I've got to celebrate the minor victories, even if they are drowned by the not so virtuous habits. I took an hour for lunch and sat in the sun with my book"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hope everyone is having a good weekend
I took Brizzle's advice this morning and did the first C25K 'run'. (I'm walking it, not running, just walking faster on the running sections). It's how I did it last time first before I started running it, and I can remember improving my fitness quite quickly. Now I just need the motivation to keep going! DH's off next week, so at least I should be able to find a bit of time to go out on my own without having to get up at 5.30am.
Other than that, it's been a chilled day today. Popped in to the library this morning to return our books. It's not open for browsing at the moment, so they've not been replaced. It's a bag gone that's been hanging around since March.
DH is selling a few things today, including some that have been on a while. That's always nice as it's stuff that's been hanging around.

DH has been put on notice that they are restructuring and there will be redundancies.
We just have to wait and see what happens now.
I've got a couple of days off now, so that will be nice, but the news has put a bit of a dampener on it. We've survived before with bigger outgoings so will do so again, but obviously the concern is that it will likely be much harder to get a job this time.
We want to go out for the day tomorrow. I'm trying to think of somewhere we can go that's different, but we'll probably go to the usual haunts. If anyone's got any suggestions for the westcountry area, I'd be interested in hearing them!
I've done another C25K walk, and also an online workout. Trying to build up gradually.
Just doing some listing for DH. At least he still has plenty to declutter!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -
