It's nice to start doing these little things again.

I was working away today and earwigging while my next door neighbour was yelling at the people behind, claiming that when they did the fences last year, they've 'stolen' some of his garden. The fences have been up for months now, and he's just decided there's a problem 🤷♀️. I'm still very happy with the work they did on ours, and whilst I can't make any judgement on his fence, ours was put in exactly where the previous one was. He was being incredibly rude and offensive, and wouldn't even discuss the issue with the poor chap behind who was trying to be reasonable. Our neighbour has form for this though, and got into a similar dispute with the neighbours the other side who moved away not long after. The fence between us is in a complete mess and is owned by him. It has clarified my thinking that when we come to do it, we will just put up a fence along our side of the boundary and are not going to get into a discussion about any shared contribution or discussion about replacing 'his' fence. I have no desire to get into a shouting match or any sort of dispute, and so if our fence is in addition to his and not instead of it, we can't be accused of stealing his land."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". DH did a tip run today, so that has got rid of all the bags of garden rubbish and plastic. He's also taken a fold up bed, and a bag of electrical items, so that's some more stuff gone
.
The bulk of the clothing orders arrived today, so I now need to go through little miss's clothing and bag up everything she's outgrown (which should be a lot of it!). I was treated to a fashion show while she tried on every single item, even the multipacks
DH is planning to take the kids out tomorrow which is good as I need to spend the next couple of days focussing.
I've cashed out from PA today, so that will go to the mortgage. I'm very close to cash out on One Poll again, so hopefully will get there soon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I think you're very sensible not to get into a fence discussion with the stroppy neighbours when the time comes. If it's clearly put up on your own land then there won't be anything to discuss. I'm glad Little Miss likes the new clothes

My house is absolutely full of stuff again. I'm trying to deal with it but it seems impossible. And just like you none of its mine. My husband has left the military now and I've got rucksacks and suitcases full of uniform and all sorts. Everywhere. Plus we have both girls birthdays coming up.
So needless to say I'm impressed you've had big stuff leaving to the car boot.
