Happy weekend everyone, and what a glorious weekend it looks like it might be!
DH is on swimming duty this weekend, so I'll be pottering around at home trying to tidy and clean. I'm tired, so I'm going to alternate little bits of tidying with sitting with a book.
I need to do the finances today, as I didn't do anything other than the money shuffle yesterday.
Tomorrow little miss has already said she's doing parkrun and my bestie will be coming up with her son as well, so we'll be able to have a catch up after
It's nice and warm so I've got the bedding in the wash and opened the french doors to let the outside in. The kids are playing in the garden.
DH has lots of plans to take the kids out next week, so I'll have peace to work and they'll get lots of fresh air. We are probably going to do a boot sale on Monday, so hopefully we'll clear some stuff and get some sea air at the same time
DH has also said he's going to try and finish clearing the small bedroom. If he manages that it will be a massive achievement. We've just got to try and find an electrician, as no one seems to come back to us! 😡
I stumbled across some photos I'd taken of the house in 2016. I do try and do it each year so I can see if we are making any progress. Goodness, we have come so far. Even I can't believe how much stuff there used to be 😱😭. It's funny how we forget! There may still be a long way to go but it's a million times better than it used to be!
I dreamt last night that I went back to slimming world. I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something

Its good to see our progress in concrete terms. I agree, we do forget how far we have comeIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
