Another productive day today, I’m quite pleased! DH called a window company today to see about the broken garage window and the kids’ bedroom window. The company we used before were fully booked but they recommended another local company who we are familiar with. Called them and they came out within a couple of hours to measure up so they could give us a quote. That meant a mad panic to tidy up the kids room 😆. It’s something I’ve been planning on doing all week so it’s done now and looks much better as I’ve moved a couple of bits around.
Fingers crossed they get back to us with a reasonable quote and are able to do it. It would be nice to tick a job off the list! We’ve got the ‘free’ water and council tax money from the last two months which we can use towards it.
Annoyingly our hoover sounds like it’s on the way out. It sounds rough as anything and isn’t picking up very well. I’m going to give the filters a good clean and then google it to see if there are any suggestions."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hope you get a good quote.

Good progress on the window issue. Getting jobs fixed is great for helping us feel in control. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
