Well I had paid my £200 and written to them to confirm that it's closed. No hanging around here! I'll be in the £16ks now, but will wait for official confirmation.
Because that's such a low amount (relatively speaking), I'm going to try and replace that cash so that my pots aren't affected. I'll try and earn some (still waiting for £25 from one poll) and cash out on other survey sites. I'll also see if I can claw some back from the grocery budget and try and eat from the cupboards as much as possible."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". DH is in work part of this week training, so it's just me and the kids. Honestly, it's a bit easier as there's one less person distracting me! We managed well today getting the homeschooling done and the only thing they missed out on was their walk, but I sent them to play in the garden instead.
I'm hoping now that we are on the final stretch of getting them back to school, and with a little boost from today's news, that maybe my anxiety will start reducing a bit. I've got a few projects on the go that are stressing me out, and I keep procrastinating, so I'm trying to get ahead with them this week to try and clear as much as I can from my to do list, to hopefully get to some more interesting tasks which lie ahead - much more in my comfort zone.
I got a year's free trial of Apple TV on my ipad, so DH and I have been watching Long Way Up with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. It's good, and we've watched their previous series, so it was nice to be able to see this one too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Today I have tackled some of the tasks I have been procrastinating on at work. I'm glad I've made some progress, it does make me feel better!
All school work done again, DH is home again the next couple of days so he can take over again and at least the kids will be able to go out for a proper walk again. I did take them to the post box this morning but it's not far.
