Hope everyone is well.  I'm feeling rough today but not sure if it's the vaccine or just the normallness of feeling rubbish at the moment.  I did make an effort and go out for a walk this morning, so that's something!

Back to work and homeschool today.  I am so relieved they are going back on 8th.  I know others may feel differently, but mine are suffering so much being out of school and I'm hoping my stress levels will reduce then as well.  Hopefully home can get back to being a place of rest and fun rather than battles about school work, or trying to get them to leave me alone so I can work.

Another 5 items sold over the weekend, so they have been prepped and posted.  My £50 from YouGov arrived today as well, so I will pop that in savings.  I've done a fair few PA surveys today as well which has been good.
    This is just spot on.
Yes, I really miss that aspect of home being a sanctuary away from everything else.

Well done on the sales and surveys. Nearly done with home schooling!
Thank you, and hurrah, I can't wait

    Hope everyone is well :)

I am now the proud parent of an 8 year old!  It doesn't seem like yesterday since I was in a panic when I found out I was expecting little jwil! (He was a surprise).  Lockdown birthdays aren't great, but we made it to the park for a bit.  Takeaway and cake is also in the running.  We did make some cakes earlier too, so a nice healthy day

I've heard back from two of my creditors today - one completely ignored the offer and just sent a balance and details of how to pay.  I shall ignore that and carry on as normal.  The other has asked for more information.  I'm going to wait and hear back from the other two before I decide what to do about that.  I was kind of hoping that someone would counter offer, but if it doesn't happen it doesn't.  It will be more in the house repair fund.

It's been a lovely sunny day today which has been lovely.  It does brighten the spirits.  However, it also highlights just how generally grubby the house is.  I'd really like to do some decorating, but there's still too much stuff in the way (and there's not a lot of point until the electrics are done at least.  DH has seriously slowed down on the decluttering since the kids broke up for Christmas.  I was patient for a while, but once they are back to school there will be another row brewing if he doesn't pick it up before he goes back to work. He's been working his way through magazines he's been hoarding which is good, but they are in the garage so it's not having any impact on the house unless he moves some stuff from the house to the garage!

We seriously need to do a tip run too.  We have been storing stuff as we are trying to stick to the essential travel only guidelines.  However, our shed is full of plastic and we can't get to the garden stuff, so I think it's now become essential.  They have been very busy so we'll try and avoid the weekends.  The queue at one locally was so big that the police turned up and started checking to see whether people were there with good reason.  I think they did turn some people away.  I think it's the people who turn up with a couple of small items rather than those with a bootful.
