Definitely. Yes, it will be nice when the work is done on the house.HairyHandofDartmoor said:Good news on the survey cash outs 💷. I'm having a bit of a sofa day too. We deserve it 😀.
I hate ringing tradespeople but it's lovely to have home improvements. All builders seem super busy at the moment, but I'm not sure about electricians. You'll feel so pleased once you've had the work done 🙂.
Thank yousavingholmes said:Great progress all round. Glad you have had some time off even if weather not kind. Windy here.
Yes, it is blowing a gale here too.

We've both had our jabs now, hurrah! Such a relief.
Wet and windy here today, so apart from going out to post my RM item, I shan't be up to much. I think I shall make some tiffin to use up some of the biscuits left over from Christmas."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". That’s great that you both have your vaccines, the roll out seems to be going faster than I thought It would be. Enjoy your weekend5

Yes, we were invited much sooner than we expected. It's going well, and hopefully continues to go at speed. You have a good weekend tooParkyp said:That’s great that you both have your vaccines, the roll out seems to be going faster than I thought It would be. Enjoy your weekend

We both had the oxford one. DH is feeling a bit rough today, but I'm ok. I have a bit of a swollen arm but it's not very painful. I don't normally react to vaccines though so was hoping I'd get away with itHairyHandofDartmoor said:Great news about the jabs. Which one did you have? I hope you don't get too many side effects. Hope everyone is well. I'm feeling rough today but not sure if it's the vaccine or just the normallness of feeling rubbish at the moment. I did make an effort and go out for a walk this morning, so that's something!
Back to work and homeschool today. I am so relieved they are going back on 8th. I know others may feel differently, but mine are suffering so much being out of school and I'm hoping my stress levels will reduce then as well. Hopefully home can get back to being a place of rest and fun rather than battles about school work, or trying to get them to leave me alone so I can work.
Another 5 items sold over the weekend, so they have been prepped and posted. My £50 from YouGov arrived today as well, so I will pop that in savings. I've done a fair few PA surveys today as well which has been good."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
