I'm a pain for taking on the jobs that seem to take forever without much benefit but do need going through properly. Like filling away all the paperwork and getting rid of some of it. Or going through magazines. I used to rip out the pages I hadn't read yet and put the rest in recycling. Drove hubby nuts.
Your debts seem tiny now too! You're amazing. I really hope someone consider your offer. Be lovely to be down to 2 or 3. You have so turned this around. XxxxYes, we're lucky with interest rates being so low, that a decent proportion of the payment goes to the balance now. My little pads are adding up too
I've spent the last 10 years moaning at DH for hoarding so many magazines, now I moan at him for decluttering themI used to be the same, but stopped a long time ago when I was really skint.
Yes, the debts are creeping down. It would be nice to clear one, but I'm not too hopeful. Maybe next year I'll be able to make a more realistic offer if things continue to go wellsavingholmes said:You have made huge progress. Hope you enjoyed some time out in the sun this weekend.
Thank youI did, there's nothing like sitting in the sun to cheer me up!

OMG! One of my offers has been accepted! It's actually the one I was moaning about the other day that had just sent a letter with my balance on it. They've written to me again today. It's only my smallest debt, but they will accept £200 - what a result! 😁😁👏🎉"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I didn't expect they would accept as it's still with the original creditor, it hasn't been sold on. I bet they're glad to get rid of me now
I didn't think I'd ever get to this stage - over halfway now. This is a whole different world for me, and I've never had savings or seen the debts and mortgage reduce substantially before. Fingers crossed it continues heading in the right direction.
