I use an online exercise streaming service, which costs about £10-11 a month and is brilliant (in my opinion). I do a combination of weights, cardio and yoga. I don't run, due to dodgy knees plus I just really don't enjoy jogging, for some reason, though weirdly I think the motion of running can be a really joyous thing.
I'm only part-time at work and that really helps - I have wound down so much since I reduced my hours (though it also makes NSDs that much more important).
I’m not the keenest runner Cathybird, and very rarely get the ‘runners high’ that people talk about! But I always feel better when I’ve done it. I’m trying to get into yoga to try and help with my flexibility. I love doing weights too.
Anyway, back on track, and it’s 3 NSDs for me! Super duper happy I had a no spend Saturday!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend xx0 -
Well done jammy dodger on 4 NSDs
:T:T and this is the early retirement thread here. It was started about 2010 and has been going in fits and starts since then. There are definitely quite a few people around on MSE who are interested in early retirement and ways to do it. You're right that time is more precious than money!
Ohhhh I’m going to head over to this thread...I’m fast approaching 50 and dream of retiring as soon as I can!! X0 -
NSD 3 yesterday sacrificed my Friday sandwich so I could have an NSD yesterday. As I knew today would be a spend day as me and the 2 sea had out hair cut.If you dream it can you do it????????0

Well done donkids22!:j:j I've actually done that too - sacrificed the Friday sandwich. I bring in my own sandwiches and sometimes they aren't that inspired but they do save me money!

I thought today might be an NSD and in fact I do have a bill to pay but it's not so urgent that I have to pay it today so I'll roll it over to tomorrow or Monday. So it's 3/15 for me0
