Jubilant January's NSD Challenge!

Afternoon all, not claiming a no spend day today, but it was definitely a mindful spend day, and only got things I NEEDED and not wanted. So feeling pretty happy with that today. It’s been a low spend weekend.
Nothing except running club planned for this week, which I include in planned spends, so fingers crossed should bag 4 NSD’s this week. Out with the girls on Friday night, I’m driving so again should be a pretty low spend evening.0 -
Day 2 completed today0

Happy Monday, low spend weekends and low spend evenings are great things ... the main thing is that spending should be mindful, really, and well thought out, rather than habitual (it seems to me). So well done on that too :A:)0 -
good afternoon
declaring another NSD 5/20
great to see everyone focused and doing so well :T
like others I would have "treated " myself by now to some mindless purchase
my amazon basket remains empty and i have deleted debit card details from phone so i have to be mindfull and get my card for any future "needs"
i have to go to postoffice tomorrrow and will pick up groceries for the week (list already made ) and i shall take cash only so not distracted with any sale items i dont need
keep up good work and keep those ££s in the purse

So true Cathybird, it’s easy to fall into spendy habits, something over the last few months I’ve been giving a lot of thought to. I went out for breakfast with some friends today, and then into our local town. There wasn’t anything I wanted or needed, but it was interesting to watch others spending with what seemed like abandon, and without a care in the world. Each to their own, and I’m not passing judgement but I realised that this isn’t the way I want to live and buying stuff doesn’t make me happy x0 -
Made it through the weekend without going out and spending a penny, so today is day 4/12.
Next week will be a bit more spendy, I know I'll have to spend on at least 3/7 days so it's good to get a third of my target out the way already!
Everyone's doing so well!Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)
Save £12k in 2021 #76 = £11,857.21/ £10,000 (118%)0 -
