Not doing great this month so far! On Friday we had an impromptu meal out as I realised that as DD was heading back to uni on Saturday we wouldn't all be together again until Easter - plus it's her 21st later this month so I couldn't just let her go back up with a whimper and a mish-mash of stuff from the fridge :-) Did have a great time though so not all bad.
Saturday I was mainly running about taking DD to the station with her enormous suitcase, the dog to the vet for a checkup, the DS to his girlfriends etc. Vet visit is covered under a Healthcare plan so actually managed a NSD :j
Sunday was planned grocery spends so I won't count that either as it's from the budget and the main (and only!) shop for the week.
So 2 NSD's so far taking my total to 3. That sounds OK, but today I've had to spend £9.49 on postage for a parcel that arrived for DD (with her 21st party dress in it) around 10 minutes after we had left for the station on Saturday and tomorrow I'm having the work done on DD's car to get it through its MOT (which it failed just before Christmas) so that will be a big spend day
Am taking DS back to uni on Saturday, so after that hopefully things will settle back to normal a bit on the spending (and cleaning!) frontMortgage: £81,154.58 (03/19) - £54,849 (02/24)0 -
NSD #3 for me yesterday. IT helps that I do 12 hours shifts because the shops are closed when I go to work and closed when I get back!£2 savers club #33
1 debt vs 100 days ~ £193.19£5000 -
my first spend day of the month postoffice as planned to send away the early retirement forms to payroll sent tracked and signed for (belt n braces
)
my groceries where £9.52 stuck to my list and didnt venture in unnecssary isles..I would have taken a peak at the sales items if not motivated by this thread
pasties made for the next few days lunches and sneaking in an overtime shift tonight and tomorrow . that should go to towards a last little bit of CC debt thats on 0 percent but want it cleared before i leave in May
thanks to all that contribute here and keep us all motivated

Well done shopaholicnumber1
:T:T and Glitterbaby
:T:T
Shopaholicnumber1, I know having spend days might feel a wee bit out of control, but you've got three NSDs under your belt and only need another 2 by the 10th of the month to be totally on track, so I think you are fine, in fact doing very well!
jammy dodger, sounds like a low-spend and practical day, dealing with retirement forms and making packed lunches, so well done you:A

Hi,
Can I join please? First time, and I'm horrendous for spending on impulse buys, random food and drink I don't need while I'm out and generally being frivolous. Time to stop! Aiming for 8 as a start.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, Happy Monday!
Checking in with day 4 NSD. Busy day at work and long drive home meant zero spend, which is good.
Just had tea, going to let it settle then I’m all set for a workout.
I’ve got a NSD planned day tomorrow, only petrol and running club subs which I don’t count.
Have a lovely evening all xxx0 -
