I am declaring super early today to keep me on track - so 6/20 for me.
After just 5 weeks of doing this, I am beginning to see the various benefits of not spending so often. Apart from saving money (and not struggling quite so much, financially), I am starting to appreciate the things I already have, far more. And getting satisfaction from re-using, re-purposing and repairing. As well as selling and clearing out what I don't need. I am genuinely enjoying this considered approach to spending.
Mindful spending, mindful consuming and more in the bank. :j:j:jFrom Jan 25:

Aside from yoga today, nothing planned today either, woohoo!0 -
Well done Honeysucklelou2, scotmumof3, Optimistic Saver and Speky!
:T:T:T:T:A Fantastic efforts all
Optimistic Saver, so glad you're seeing benefits re thinking habits
I really think sometimes the simple act of putting spending off is enough to make people feel they don't have to do it, and that there are better alternatives to hand.

SSDD23, Optimistic Saver is right! In December you ended up with a total of 14 NSDs out of a target of 15, so you got three emojis - the "off to a start", the 5 days and the 10 days.
This month if you reach your target of 20 you will get the 15 and 20 day emojis too, plus the "target reached" emoji. I hope that makes sense! I'm so pleased you and Optimistic Saver like them and I find them really motivating too, not sure why!
I forgot I'd asked this lol, although I did mean where do you actually get them from cathybird as I can't see them on my list of emoticons :rotfl:0 -

Oh dear I'm sorry SSDD23! I misread your question lol. I did think it was an odd question!I get them from all over the place basically, there's thousands of different emojis about on the internet. If you wanted your own copy of any of them you can right-click on the image and save it as a gif to your desktop. If you wanted to re-use on MSE, you need to right-click on the image, select "copy image location", then press the "insert image" button on the MSE post toolbar and paste (you need to be in advance view to see it though I think). Does that help? Feel free to copy/save or whatever you like - they came from free sources to begin with.
