Needed change for my yoga class yesterday and whilst I don't mind just going into a shop and asking for change I didn't on this occasion because 1, I've done it lots of times before and 2, I've only Scottish notes and it bugs me when these are questioned incorrectly.
Still on 2 NSDs0 -

Happy_Monday wrote: »Still on 5 NSDs today, nipped into Aldi with my sister tonight with no plans to spend, but picked up some half price fruit and veg so it was too good to miss. I did think for a minute about not breaking my NSD, then thought I was being silly when there was food that I will use.
Should be a NSD tomorrow xx
Similar to me this morning, Happy Monday - I was walking to work past the restaurant that makes lovely cinnamon buns - thought "oh I could really go a cinnamon bun" - then thought, don't be silly, I've brought all my food for the day, no reason to throw a potential NSD away for a bun! So no bun. It's no doubt better for me anyway.0 -

MidsHollie wrote: »I'm not doing as well as anticipated. I've had 3 NSD's out of 15 this month. Only one day has been overly spendy, all other days are within the budget. I aim to do some meal planning and prepping at the weekend which will help cut down the number of times I go to Aldi!
MidsHollie, well done on your 3 NSDs:T:T Still plenty of January left!

Speky, my dad once tried to pay for a sandwich in Norway using Scottish pounds, and got very cross when they didn't like it! :rotfl: I agree with you, it's annoying that people don't get that they are no different to English pounds.0 -
