Wow the best news of the year and a big hude Well Done CCL! A few days ago I had problems reading some of the posts as some of them seem to disappear but normal service has been resumed!

I too put off going to the Doctor's as I think and know from previous experience they will blame my weight, that fact that my weight isn't ideal is in part due to a medical condition, oh the irony.

@crazy_cat_lady have you been keeping a diary of your symptoms? If not go back through this diary to fill in the blanks. This will be something you are asked to do if the cause is hormone-related and it will put you one step ahead and start you on the journey to diagnosis and treatment.

Many congratulations, CCL! You are a truly amazing woman and as a long time lurker felt it was about time I broke cover to tell you how inspirational and strong you are. Definitely chase up your GP regarding hormonal problems. I suffered similarly to yourself until I saw a sympathetic practitioner. Game changer!
