If they tell you to suck it up tell them to do their job & sort you out. Nobody should be going through that every month. I know it can be hard to be assertive with your doctor but you really do need to. Actually I doubt that a modern doctor would dismiss your problems. Just think how much better your life (& those around you) could be without that problem.

Hello
I have done the third coat on the stairs - and cleaned the brushes as well so I'm not going to do any more painting on the stairs now. There's just a couple of things left to do now, including sealing the window frames and sills, masonry painting, and woodwork in the outhouse. The kitchen is not getting done until I've had a proper rest. It is now the worst room in the house but it will be better once cleaned and painted... I have a new cooker and bin in there which has already made a massive difference.
Also done a few annoying jobs today, including sorting some photos out to get printed for my room, hanging up a couple of pictures in kids bedrooms. I still have to repair (or in fact replace) dd's venetian blind. It's been decimated by the kitten so I'm thinking it might be worth replacing with wooden blinds rather than the PVC that we currently have.
I've finally also hoovered through (still not mopped but it's barely stopped raining), changed the beds, flea treated the cats and mine and dd's bedroom (rest of the house to follow), rubbish, recycling, washing and washing dishes all done as usual. AND I finished my Reacher book last night. Even motivated myself to pick up my crochet for the first time in a few days. I'm going to find a new book to read and spend an hour in bed reading each night to wind down - I need to get back into school mode...I have a big pile of unread books, and a big pile of undone crochet (wool and patterns, lol).
My friend came over this afternoon for coffee, cake and a catch up - was lovely to see her. She's a bit stressed about going back to work as well so much as I wouldn't wish it on anyone I'm pleased I'm not on my own. We also spoke to our head of dept this afternoon who has been finalising the timetable - so I think that I might be ready for me to look at finally. If I can see my timetable and my class lists then I will be happy. Apparently I even have one extra hour spare this year, so I've been asked if I will mentor our ITT (trainee teacher student). HaaaaaaaaThey will love my sense of humour and self deprecation I'm sure, but I'll have a good go at it anyway.
I'm going to log onto my work laptop after here and see if it's there. Please cross your fingers that I have a decent lesson P5 on Wednesday and Friday - for some reason they are always the toughest lessons of the week.
Other than that I'm really slowing down with what I'm doing - I've had enough of DIY and painting now if I'm honest - just need a bit of a rest from it, but I love how the house is now looking (except the kitchen) so that's a bit addictive. I've spent a lot of money, but if you consider that I've done the whole house including carpets, beds, blinds and cooker (and bathroom of course) I suppose it's not so bad, and it was the refund from my non existent trip to Bulgaria anyway along with the payment from the exam board...
Thanks for that info about PMDD - I've read it and kind of feel as though I almost could have written it myself. I've been telling anyone that will listen to me that my anxiety gets out of control for about 10 days before my period and then disappears really quickly so I wondered if it was hormonal. Maybe time to face the music - I just hate going to the docs because I normally get told that every problem I have in life would be solved if I lost weight... if only eh?
Right. Time to get on with something - I have a bit of crochet almost finished which I'd like to do before I go to bed tonight. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Just checked my timetable as it is for now. Looks as though I have a free Wednesday P5, and triple chemistry on Friday P5. So win-win there. However, not nice class P5 Monday. Ah well - can't win them all.
Swedish emporium? I have a voucher for them! Do you think wooden blinds will be kitten proof? Not giving up
