Thanks monz and Sarahwithlove
Spends on Thursday were £27.87 on petrol, £2 on a card for OH's birthday and £8.70 on food including some snacks to take to my sister's. I drove down Thursday night to spend yesterday with her and my niece which was lovely (and a NSD). Drove back up last night, today is OH's birthday. Did the food shop earlier and spent £24.93. Have had a very relaxing day watching films and staying warm inside.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Today I did a short shift for 2nd job which will get me around £30 on Friday. Will split it £7.50 each to the car, emergency and holiday funds and the credit card. Then went to the gym with a friend, trying to get back into a routine of going regularly. Today has been a NSDMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Went to the gym again yesterday
. Not planning to go today but will go again tomorrow after work. I find the best thing to do is take my gym stuff to work and get changed before leaving, that then forces me to go even if I don't quite feel like it.
The gym is close to a b&m store so popped in there for a refill for the wee dehumidifier we bought, toothpaste, milk and coffee. Ended up buying more stuff but all things that we will use and at a good price - £19.21 spent. The grocery budget is going well this month, still got £52.20 lefthave planned meals up to the weekend so shouldn't need anything else this week apart from bread and then only 1 more week of the month. Meal planning has finally clicked
I need to get petrol today, there's £14.46 left in the petrol budget so will stick that in and hope that it lasts until payday next Thursday. I hope so although I need to drive quite a bit on Thursday for work. Although the journeys for work are all short (longest is about 15 miles round trip), it does all add up over the month so must remember to put a bit extra in the petrol budget in future months to cover for this.
Had a chat to OH last night about general financial stuff and we're going to start a saving pot for new furniture. Almost all of the furniture in our flat is from friends, family, charity shops, gumtree, freecycle, etc as we needed to furnish it as cheaply as possible. Some of it is looking really tired, in particular one of the sofas and most of the bedroom furniture so we'd like to replace it at some point.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

NSDs Wednesday and Thursday. Did a shop yesterday so now have £31.86 left in the food budget, still need to do a meal plan for next week as yesterday's shop was to get things for a roast chicken dinner tomorrow, more coffee, bread, toilet rolls and some cider and snacks for today's rugby. However, really shouldn't need that much as we've got plenty of pasta and rice, there will be leftover chicken and there's gammon in the freezer from last weekend so hoping to end the month with at least £10 left from the food budget which will be the 1st time in what feels like forever that we haven't gone over.
Although I may need to top up the car with petrol as I ended up doing more driving at work on Thursday than I thought plus a little on Friday. Will see how I go though, might manage to scrap through.
I got £31.61 from 2nd job yesterday so £7.50 each to the holiday, car and emergency funds and £9.11 to the debt taking me to 2% paid since I rejigged my signature. I've picked up another wee shift with them next Sunday which will get me around £40. My payslip is through for my main job so I'll get £1873.77 on Thursday, will sit down with OH today to work on a budget.
Now off work for the next 3 days, my parents were supposed to be visiting this weekend but unfortunately due to the weather forecast, they aren't able to. Ah well I've taken the time off work so will have a nice relaxing weekend with OH.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
