A NSD today :D. It was an incredibly draining day at work so happy to be home and in my pjs :)

Started doing community visits as part of my job last month so finally got round to handing in the paperwork (MOT, insurance, etc) so that I claim back mileage. It's 45p a mile and I think I'll probably do around 60-70 miles a month so maybe around £27-£30 back a month :)

Didn't manage to post last night, couple of really draining days at work. Supposed to be off tomorrow and Friday but have agreed to go in for a couple of hours each day to help out with a bit of a situation, hopefully all will be resolved soon. Ah well a few overtime pennies to add to my pay next month :D

NSDs yesterday and today but will definitely need to shop tomorrow as the freezer is completely empty and fridge is almost empty too.

Did a shop yesterday - £32.28, mostly food although did buy new paint brushes (£5.99). Today has been a NSD :D. Have come down with the lurgy so feeling pretty rotten, hopefully it will pass soon.

Continue to be feeling better - still got a lovely snotty nose and cough but I no longer feel miserable :)

NSD yesterday and spent £12.68 on food today, that should take us to at least the weekend apart from possibly milk.

I really really need to get an essay finished for a qualification through work, it's due in 9 days and I don't want to be stressing about it the day before. Unfortunately there will be no pay rise once completed :( but it's something I need for my registration. We had an inspection today at work which I think went well but official feedback will be on Thursday.

A few purchases today - £7.04 on food, £3.18 on toiletries and £2.99 on a new roller brush for painting.

  • I like the daily break down of your expenses during the week curious to wonder if it worth me doing daily posts more so than weekly misstara. Keep up the hard work and is very much a eye opener in living life but recording the financial aspect too.

Thanks for your post Floorspeed. I certainly find posting daily or near daily helps keep me on track and makes me more mindful of my spending as I know I will have to come here and confess :rotfl:

Yesterday was a NSD :). Plan for today is getting some food shopping in and visiting my gran, I haven't seen her in over a week due to the lurgy and then feeling miserable with toothache. The antibiotics have kicked in :D so feeling loads better.

Didn't visit my gran yesterday as when I phoned her, she already had various visitors planned so went round today instead. She's happy to be home but still very tired. Then went to the gym for a spin class and OH made a roast chicken dinner :). Only spend for today was £19.11 on petrol.

Went food shopping yesterday - £33.95 on food, £1 on washing up liquid, £1 on daffodils and £2.90 donation to the bag packers at the supermarket.
